I replaced my iPhone SE charging port simply because it wore out. The cable had to be held in an exact position for it to make contact.The task of installing it requires about the same skill level as it takes to replace the battery. It’s not rocket science, but does require attention to detail and patience.Hopefully you will catch transferring of the microphone rubber boot and not have to open your phone back up because the microphone doesn’t work (google it, I’m not alone).Now the cable latches in securely and the phone is good as new.

This unit had everything installed and works perfectly in my phone. Make sure you keep the tiny metal pieces that are installed behind your existing parts and reinstall when you replace. That part was the hardest which had nothing to do with this specific sellers part. Recommended.

I have been having charging problems so I ordered a battery and this charging port which at closer inspection was a used port from someone else’s phone. I immediately requested a refund. The battery was from another Amazon vendor and worked just fine but the charging port is a big warning flag for any of you thinking about buying from this site.

I got this to replace the wonky power jack in my phone and save some money by not replacing my phone. Needed to get a smart phone took kit for $8 from walmart and watch a video on Youtube and to my delight, it worked really well. The only reason I give less than 4 stars is it's not exactly like the part that came out so I couldn't put one of the retaining clips back in but everything works. Word of warning on installation - be careful prying the face off your phone. It's a tight fit and when it came loose, it popped the home button cable loose so that no longer works BUT I just went to settings to accessibility options and put a enabled a digital home buttons so phone still has full functions with the exception of not being able to use the fingerprint lock function.It works well enough and was easy enough to fix that I think I'll just keep repairing this phone instead of replacing with parts like this in the future.

A little nervous about this at first, but it worked great. Replace the battery while in there. Highly recommend if your charge port starts having trouble. Follow the YouTube videos.

The charging port now works, the headphone port wont work, wasn't worth it for me to return, as it comes from China and no clear time line for delivery- I will end using using my wireless i-pods- which do work.
