Bossen Crystal Boba (Original)

Ever since having try these crystal at one of the fresh juice place in Texas, I’ve been on a search. These are a bit sweet but if you rinse them with water and soak them in coconut water they become just right in sweetness. These have a nice chew texture not like the black ones

The one I received (on 10/24/2022) is exp in Feb 2023. No issue here. Great texture, same as I got from Gong Cha. It is sweet and it's clearly indicated on the package 11g of added sugar. Some people complain that there is very little boba in a lot of water. I would say that there are boba crystals with spaces in between them filled with liquid. Once you put the content in a container, you will see boba, not liquid. I think those were the concerns other comments express.

I don’t really do much reviews but I do like Boba. I’m giving a complete honest review in my perspective. The Boba shops around me are about 45-60 mins away so that’s why I decided to buy it to make at home. I got excited waiting for the order to come, and when it came the amount for the price is kinda disappointing. The amount will fill up 3 full boba cups. I am estimating about probably 15 to 20 serving, depending on how you ration it. Flavor taste is like lychee. Was skeptical of buying it by reading the reviews with the quantity and the texture but it’s okay. I saw a review that said it’s like rubber I’ll be lying if I said it wasn’t but it’s not the texture of rubber as what you think it is not like you eating a rubbery beef jerky or something like that it’s just more chewy than usual boba shops. There was also a review saying about the chunks. Yes my package has had chunks of Boba stuck together but it’s okay you can just break it on with a spoon if you feel like it or bigger/extra boba the amount of chunks filled up about 75% of a cup. I would buy this again, probably off the website because it’s cheaper. I am most likely going to try a different brands to see if I can find one more like the one I get a Boba shops.

This is exactly what Crystal boba you see at the shops is. Yes in the bag it looks like only half the bag is filled up, but there is nothing wrong with that. It is however much it is advertised. The syrup is much needed for sweetening your drink. I transfer it all to a container box and keep in the fridge. One bag can probably do 40-50 drinks or more, maybe even 100 drinks, depending on how much you put in each drink.People who say this is not what it is are wrong. It is exactly Crystal boba at the shop. Get your assumption right.

this product is horrible. I gave it the benefit of the doubt even after reading all the mixed reviews and wow, I wish I wouldn't have even tried this. It tastes like brown sugar boba. However, the texture is so bad, it tastes like a raisin that has been soaked in brown sugar. So bad. I just tossed the entire package in the trash.do not spend your money on this product.you will be highly disappointed.

I did order this hoping it would arrive before I went on vacation and tried to cancel when I realized it wouldn’t make it. Well, the cancellation didn’t go through so it ended up arriving and sitting in the mailroom of my apartment building for a week. I braced myself when I finally got back and opened it. Tastes fine and no leakage whatsoever. I put it in a tub in the fridge along with the juice. For $25 it is not a huge amount but it is fair enough considering inflation and all. Give it a go!

I've always been a fan of the agar-type crystal boba due to its much less caloric density compared to typical tapioca boba. This one is exactly what I wanted! once you wash away the syrup. Yes, like everyone else has said, it does come in a sweet syrup. But the solution is simple. Grab however much you want, wash it in a strainer, and bingo - syrup gone. So easy, even an amazon reviewer can do it. Whats left is delicious, perfectly textured crystal boba. I'm on my second order and will be ordering more every time I run out.

I recently tried the Crystal Boba and have mixed feelings about it. While the quality of the boba pearls is decent but it had too much of a chewy texture, I found the flavor to be lacking compared to other brands I've tried.
