So if you are new to getting cocktail dresses and or gowns, get a size or two bigger because they run smaller than normal clothes. (If you wear a size 12, get a size 16 in gown). Anyways, this dress is so vibrant and such a great length for the taller girls. It’s a lace up and it contours your waist.

This dress was constructed well, but made of inferior materials all around. The outer layer was very low quality and in the white color was somewhat sheer. The breast pads showed through.Because of this, we took the very large breast pads out. Then the boning was a little off so we removed that too. Obviously taking all that structure out then resulted in needing to do some alterations to the bodice which we planned anyway. (It was a little big overall in the bodice for my daughter) So having worked with this dress a lot (I did the alterations) I’ll point out that the material, thread, etc was all lower quality.The tulle layer to give this skirt a big flare/pouf is waaaaay too much. But if you want a fluffy short dress, that’s fine. We easily removed it. There’s a lot of top stitching across the lower hem (6 lines, 3 inches up) to hold in the stiff interfacing which gives the skirt a nice flare drape which it would absolutely not have otherwise because the dress fabric has almost no body at all. The topstiching to me was a big disappointment. I would not expect to see that type of construction on a cocktail dress.Having said all of this, it’s a very sweet and affordable dress. It is quite plain but would be pretty with lace, beading, or a sash added. My daughter liked it plain. It was long enough to meet the dress code for our Catholic high school’s Homecoming; it was about 4 inches above the knee crease on a girl who is 5’8” and a size 4.

We somehow missed the description that said that this dress has to be completely laced up, but that allowed us to customize the fit a bit, so that was okay. Fabric is beautiful quality. Needed to be steamed multiple times to get it perfect, but the dress was beautiful! We ordered according to the sizing chart which had us order a size larger than my daughter is, but the measurements were accurate, so that was fine.

The product was to be used for homecoming dance. It was a beautiful dress, but we were unable to use it. It ended up being just a little too small. However, the seller was very understanding and worked with us to return the dress. The experience with this seller was very good and we love their products. I plan to make future purchases from them due to their customer service.

I love lace-up backs and was so happy to find this dress that said it was lace up. It’s not at all, it’s a plain cheap zipper. Replacing it will cost more than the dress. It also came extremely wrinkled as it were balled up and shoved in the package. I was so excited for this dress and now I’m just disappointed.

My daughter picked it out for homecoming. It fit as expected and looked great on her. The fabric and quality was great.

The dress was very well designed and materials are nice quality. The seller is most accommodating
