1911 Government/Commander Full Size Grips Aluminum Matte Black Cobra

These grips look fantastic, but I took them back off after 1 range trip. I grip my pistols tight to reduce muzzle flip... I mean tight. My friends and I often use shot timers and also occasionally shoot in local matches. You can get a good grip on your 1911 with these grips, BUT the large gaps/holes will hurt your hands. I like very aggressive texture on my pistol grips and this has been the only set of grips that hurt my hands. If you use gloves while shooting this may not be an issue for you. If you use a normal grip strength, this won't be an issue for you. If you try to shoot quickly so you grip as tight as you can and you don't wear gloves, I honestly do believe the large aesthetically pleasing holes in these grips will not be comfortable for you. I realize I'm the exception, not the rule here. You'll probably love these grips. They look great and are well made.

So apparently my first GLOWING review of this product violated community guidelines or some such. After re-reading it, I can only assume a quotation of the word "mean" to describe the aesthetic look it adds to the pistol. But once again, it's a great fit on my longslide, great grip, thinner than your avg. Kimber wood grips. Great product!

bought these on impulse with a gift cardim glad i did.im somewhat of a fabricator and i played around on some CAD programs and it is not easy. you have to know what you are doing. valkyrie dynamics knows exactly what they are doing.The fit is perfectthey arrived fast and well packagedfinish is flawless.im expecting lots of compliments at the range and when i open cary10/5 excellent would recommend. and the price is perfect alsoi wish i could find slick screws for it though, but the stock ones work

Met and exceeded expectations. Opted for this version vs the through-hole design to reduce debris from entering. Had to slightly mill for ambi-safety. Finish work and anodizing is very nice as well. Recommend and would buy again. Tell customers to try mine first and the common reaction is "these are nice!!"

Well worth the price. I received them today and installed them on my Ruger SR1911 Commander. No problems with the fit. I requested and received them notched for an ambidextrous safety with no issues. They give a nice, unique look to the gun, and also provide a goop solid grip without being too aggressive. Couldn't ask from more from the seller or the grips themselves.

Added these to an older Kimber Custom that needed a little freshening up. Love the look and the feel. Also added the Predator Muzzle break and some trick grip screws. Tapped in a new fiber optic / night sight too.......I think it would make the bad guys wet their pants!

Not always the most comfortable but if you are looking for rugged grips that will make it so your gun doesn’t slip and look pretty cool doing it then these are your grips.
