I have used these for 2 home projects and 1 professional project with about 8 drops and 25 cables crimped total. These crimpers have done the job. I believe only 1 time did I have an issue where they did not seem to crimp a connection well, and I had to redo it. That may have been on me though.When compared to Klein tools, it is clearly of a lesser quality, but not so much that it cannot be used for the average home user or even semi-professional. I am sure over extended professional use Klein would come out on top, but you pay a good chunk more for those too, so in essence you get what you pay for. However the average home user will probably not use these until end of life, so in a sense the Kleins could be overkill for some.I do notice that the kleins crimp slightly easier than these, as in I really need to give a good squeeze to ensure good connection, but other than that I have had no problems with these crimpers. I have not really used the stripper part as I have a separate stripper that I use. It is sharp though, so I imagine that it works well enough. However a dedicated stripper is probably always better.Pros:+ Great price+ Awesome for the average user+ Great alternative to the Klein version if on a budget, or only need sparinglyCons:- Need a stronger squeeze for crimping- Feels of a slightly lesser quality than other brands- Latch to lock shut has slipped once or twiceI would buy them again for my several time a year use with no regrets if I had to.

This crimper is adequate quality for medium duty use. It is not a heavy duty professional cable TV installer's tool. The jaw design will allow a good quality crimp on the connector. It will last indefinitely in light duty home use. I outfitted a crew with this tool to wire three buildings at a university. The tools lasted through the end of the project but they were at the end of their useful life. This was after constant daily use for three months. The tool is reasonable quality for the price point. I recommend it.

Bought these after using the same one at work for 7 years. Never went dull on the sheath-cutting blades. There's not a ton of leverage so it's like using a forearm workout tool, but these are comparable to any decent quality ones I have seen. For average-duty use they will be fine. For professional use you might want something more comfortable and perhaps with better crimping leverage. Unless you want to get ripped.

Wanted one of these for a long time but didnt want to spend alot because it doesnt get used that often. I'm using it for regular cable tv coax - been renovating over the years and moving wires around in my house, having to cut and re-connect. Finally broke down and decided on this one. Out of the box it's got a really good weight to it. If using it every day might be a bit much, but I like it. When crimping it has really good leverage, and the first two times i used it i clamped down a little too much and caused the end to crack. Third one finally looked professional, but all three connections worked no problem. They also worked when i clamped them down with regular pliers but the mashed ends bothered me. It's a basic tool that does the job for a great price.

Great crisper old school but very durable and reliable great backup tool or primary tool.

This crimpers is definitely solid built. Should last me decades.

Could not use with most of my connectors. Too much force required to complete crimp.
