My brother loves it

My 7 year old granddaughter had a great time with this kit. I was really surprised with the amount of things to do for the price I paid.

It was a gift for a young boy who's name was on a giving tree and it was made for his age to me that was great

This kit is awesome! The directions are clear and easy to follow. The equipment is sturdy. This is definitely something my students will use for several years if I keep the consumables replaced. I love it.

My daughter wanted to "do Science" so I decided to come to Amazon to purchase one. We love this kit! It's simple to use and only requires a fee things that most people already have in the kitchen and around the house. The price was great as well.

The box states there are 20+ experiments but there is actually far less. Just variations of the same experiment just an additional ingredient added such as food coloring to add some color. The crystallization experiments are not good either and the "How To Videos" on the website are for a completely different kit since it does not contain many of the items needed for this experiments.The child immediately lost interest and did not wish to conduct the same volcano experiment with 4 different variations.There have to be better products out there that say 20+ experiments and actually mean 20+ experiments.Waste of money.

Ask permission from the adult who will need to supervise before you gift it. Lucky that was me and my kitchen for my six year old. She had seen some of these experiments at school and wants to be a scientist so I bought it to do together. She loves the volcano. Made me keep experiment notes. Seemed to grasp the interactions we 'discovered' and loved just mucking about with the bicarb and dyes. Such a glorious mess. Be sure to review the what you need from home first. The requirements are not difficult but not always something you have on hand. Our bottle for the lava lamp was too big the the amount of oil I had on hand so we had to fine a smaller bottle or sacrifice a lot of good olive oil.
