Works great for stripping off old paint & gasket material from metal & aluminum.

I use these on my auto restoration projects and find them to be very good. Price is competitive for a consumable product. I tend to stay with medium or finer as the coarse are really abrasive and remove a good bit of metal.

They do exactly what I wanted them to do! The reviews of things that are as descrbed are repetive and boring but needful!They sand... They last .... They work!Their description is what I needed. They are what I needed! Good purchase.

These are well made and better than the super cheap knockoffs. However even the fine grade is pretty rough and seem to be geared more towards removal of heavy paint and corrosion than more delicate tasks such as gasket removal from steel or aluminum engine components. I'm sure I'll use them up eventually for something or another. However I think I'll stick with 3M for most of my needs.

Perfect for what I needed

For the price, these are just fine. They are, however, a little stiff and don't conform as well as the Harbor Freight equivalents. The discs are much harder and feel more like a grinding wheel than a scouring pad. This makes them quite a bit more durable, but not as good at getting in tight spaces or polishing uneven surfaces. They also seem to get gummed up faster than the Harbor Freight ones.Overall, I'll keep them and use them when appropriate, but won't purchase again.
