Bought this for my 2-3yr old classroom. I plopped it in the floor and showed them how to walk across it... now, I've got to teach them how to use it and some fun games to play w/ it (like walking across w/ a foam block or bean bag on their head/elbow, etc.). I think they'll really like it when they have a good chance to use it more. It even holds me, & I'm 5'2 / ~150Lbs. to mean that means durable.

Great product, good construction yet VERY light!
The item was delivered in one day even though i selected two day shipping so that's great!This is one of the rare cases where the product itself looks way better than the picture, material feels strong and durable, i got it for my nephew but i ended up playing with it for a while and it took my weight with no problem!The size is perfect for kids, but if you think you'll end up using it too, or any other adult, i recommend getting two! it only fits a couple of steps for a grown person and since you can attach them to each other getting two makes it more challenging for adults, i already ordered my second one!

my son loves this!
My son is 19 months old, and he loves this! It has enough texture that he doesn't slip off, and it's low enough that when he does fall off he doesn't fall over, he just steps back on. I like that there is velcro on the bottom, but I wish it was on both ends to keep it more steady. Great buy!

Sturdy enough for adult use
Durable faux leather exterior that is easy to clean. The inner material is very sturdy, but soft. Adults can use this balance beam. Folds nicely for easy storage. I was very happy with this balance beam.

Too soft, great for playtime
Beam is too soft for really practicing gymnastics for my 5 year old. Its good for beginners for balancing but it does move around when walking on it, the ends come up off the floor and it rocks to the side.

Good beam for my 2 year old - wouldn’t purchase ...
Good beam for my 2 year old - wouldn’t purchase for anyone older than 5. It is already losing its firmness and doesn’t have the best “feel” of an actual beam.

Good quality!
You usually get what you pay for but this is the exception. This is wonderful quality for such a low price. Very well made and is holding up very well.
