I previously ordered the Labradorite mala with traditional mala and was impressed by the quality of gemstones. Decided to support MeruBeads by ordering the Premium Mala Beads in Garnet. I’m beyond impressed and grateful.Each garnet bead is knotted in between. The Tassle has a metal holder and clip. It may be used with or without tassle which I found amazing for when I wanted to simply tuck mala in shirt while walking service dog around lake. I’ve also appreciated being able to remove the tassle when I have a mantra intensive meditation session in my practice and can simply feel the perfectly place MeruBead “OM” attached pendant to know I’ve done a full set of mantras.What impressed me most was the moment in bed when I was chanting my mantras with the Garnet prayer beads and the sunlight illuminated my room and thus the garnet beads. Their translucent natural and deep red looked amazing in sunlight.I’m forever grateful for the peace and craftsmanship of MeruBeads prayer beads.May all beings benefit.

Absolutely gorgeous and very well made! Love these beads for both meditation and as daily wear. I really love that they have a toggle clasp, since I usually wear wrapped around my wrist. I have a pretty small wrist though, and was only able to wrap them 5 times, which left them very loose and uncomfortable. However, if I open the clasp I can get one more time around which makes for a perfect snug yet comfortable fit around my wrist. I also bought a howlite aromatherapy bracelet with lava beads which I wear with this mala and it looks beautiful together. Great feel in my hands for meditating too. Also really dig the removable tassel.

I had never purchased mala beads, I just liked Rose Quartz beads. I purchased these in particular because there is a knot between each bead, just like what is done for a string of pearls. I also liked the idea the tassel was removable. That way I could either wear the tassel in front, or remove the tassel and turn the toggle clasp to the back of the neck for a more tailored look. I love it. Excellent quality, beads are of equal coloring. I am very pleased with my purchase and I'm planning to order other colors, as well, from this seller.

Beautiful. It feels pretty high quality. The toggle clasp is great. I can get it wrapped around my wrist an extra time so it’s not falling off my hand. I thought the tassel would get in the way but I haven’t caught it on anything. The only thing so far is that I have worn this for the past 3 days and the tassel fell out of its tassel cap. It is held in with 2 sided tape. Plan on throwing a drop of glue in there. Stunning otherwise so far.

Wow! I was super impressed with the quality and weight of this Mala! The weight of this mala provides an instant grounding and calming effect. It is my first one and it is beautiful! I went with Howlite because I could use more patience in my life and it is a good reminder to slow down and take care of myself. The silk tassel is so soft! I love that it is removable too! I see more malas in my future from this company.

I am big on dharmic jewelry and I have owned a lot of mala over the years. This is the best one, I wish I'd just purchased one of these years ago. The closest to this I've owned in quality, was a mala I was given at a temple when I was much younger. It too, had this hemp style knotting and was incredibly durable; but I lost it in a move and started a ritual of buying those crappy elastic ones every six months.

The quality is very good but I just don't like the way the guru bead is not smoothly found - I bought this one because the others had a metal tag with the company name on it and that tag is not removable so I bought this one. Good craftsmanship, good quality materials. Still giving this a 5 star because the quality far exceeds my observation at the beginning of the post. Buy with confidence

I am so happy with my malas. I bought the amethyst. The beads are a beautiful, rich, deep purple.My husband bought the red tiger eyes, and they are are just as beautiful and rich.They are strung with high quality cording and knotted realy well. The cord's beauty matches that of the beads. The tassel is silky and lovely to touch.You will not be unhappy with these malas!
