It really works!
I used to use Frontline (for years) and then went to Advantix II as the fleas in my area seemed to have become immune to both of these. This one worked. It took a couple of days to kill all the fleas on my cats, which isn't unexpected since I'm sure it takes time for the liquid to spread over their body. When they pick up new fleas, it is affecting them quickly as when I occasionally find a live flea, it's obviously sick, walks around in circles, and is near death every time. It does not work on ticks (and I do not mark down on the stars for this as it makes no claim to killing ticks, only fleas). If there is any downfall, it's that my cats are strongly repelled by the smell and there seems to be more "liquid" than others so you have to be careful about spreading it over about an inch or so of skin rather than in 1 place or, if the cat shakes, the excess will just sling off. Again, I don't really see this as anything bad, but just the way it is, and a little adaptation to application method makes it completely acceptable. Overall, I am quite happy so far with how well this has worked.

Keeps away the fleas for a good price!!
It works! My cats have no fleas or other pests that we get here in the Deep South. It lasts for about 4 weeks & I reapply it on the first weekend of the month. It will also kill those little bugs that fell like scabs on your cat, whatever those are. It is easy to apply. It is a LOT CHEAPER here than at the Vets office...about half that price!! It doesn't say ticks, but I haven't seen any ticks on my outdoor cats either. If I don't use it on them they get ticks a lot. But they have not had ticks since I have been putting this on the back of their neck.

Will update when have some time with the product on the cats in the house. We have a full home of rescues and decided to try this instead of some of the "usual" brands we have been doing. It just seemed we might need to try something different. Not sure how it is working for just applied the product literally moments before this review. What I can say is that none of the product was left behind on our hands. It was a well bubbled package that went on very fast and easily. The cats did not fight like they normally do cuz what I feel of being annoyed etc.

This works, I have 4 cats and live in Florida. Trust me!
This actually worked on my cats and I live in Florida where fleas seem to be the worst. I’ve tried every flea application product on the market, seriously it’s been very expensive trying to find something that works.

All Else Failed - This Worked!
When all the other flea drops stopped working, I gave Activyl a shot. Not because of the positive reviews, but because I had tried just about everything else. Had resorted to an every few days bathing in flea shampoo, dawn, etc, etc, to kill the fleas, which works, but does not repel. Every day I go over both of our cats with a flea comb (after 2 months of using it), and I never find a single flea. The first month of use I did find a few each day. I read a comment that stated you need to use it for 2 months for it to fully work and that was correct. More importantly, unlike when using the others, my cats were not driven crazy for a day or two by a flea war dance. In fact, they had no reaction at all. I hope it does not stop working like many of the others have as my cats do really well on it.

So much for the money
This is the best for my cats in the way of fighting fleas. Easy to use. Got more then what I was expecting because I thought I was only getting 1 box for the price but no I got 6 boxes for this price, ( I misread). I was shocked when it came in. I put it on my cats and there is no sign of fleas, but make sure you put it right in between the cat shoulder blade because it can run down on them to where they might lick it. I usually find a patch of skin between my cats shoulders and my husband holds them and parts their hair so I get it really good on the skin and squeeze and rub at the same time so it stays in place. They don't even itch or it doesn't bother them when I put it on them. I can even go 2 months without having to put another tub on them. My cats are more of a indoor cats except when we do go out on the front porch or the deck in the back yard.

Most effective I've ever found
I used this on 4 out of 5 of my cats (not for use on cats who are on meds or ill). The 4 who had this treatment are flea free. I used Advantage Multi on my elderly cat who is on thyroid meds and I am still combing the occasional flea off of her. This stuff really lasts the full month. All other flea treatments seem to give out after 14 days. I was a little worried about it as they have lots of warnings on the label (don't let cat lick it, don't get it on your skin). However, nobody seemed to notice it after I put it on them and they were not ill from it at all. Just ordered another batch. Virginia fleas have not built up a resistance to this as they have with other treatments. Highly recommend!

Works!
If I could get my cats to talk and let me know what THEY think, that would make a great rating, eh? BUT I can say that this product was recommended by a veterinarian, so I purchased and it seems to be working, after a horrific battle with fleas (thanks to roommate's dogs.😠) Bought some for him/them. We seem to have nipped it.
