Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash: Volume 8 (Light Novel)

As a long time fan of the series, I did enjoy the book. The writing was of similar quality as previous entries and the characters are still quite enjoyable. If anything I think there was a greater attention to detail paid to the characters of our main group. Some unorthodox pairings were put forward here and they had an interesting back and forth between them. The only issue I really have with this entry, and it's really more of a personal preference than anything at this point, is that the book didn't seem finished. The climax at the end of the story felt more like it was a half way point in a larger volume.

This is the first time on all volumes I feel such deep and rich character development. They each have a unique personality and/or story. It is also the first time I see Haruhiro really grow significantly. I hope it would be more though. It still feels the mc is developing too slowly.

It felt really short, probably because the story is broken up between perspectives, but not worth waiting so long for (although this doesn't make me love the story any less). Also the cliffhanger killed me! GRRAAAH!! Now I have to wait forever for the next one....All in all wasn't bad, and I enjoyed having the rest of the group fleshed out more and getting to see their perspective/thoughts on things.

Definitely slept on by a lot of people, awesome series.

Like the other novels, I enjoyed reading this volume just as much as the others. I appreciated the amount of character growth that occurred, especially with shihoru! It was a little difficult following the side characters, especially during the fighting but that’s ok. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

This book sucked me in and I couldn't put it down until I finished it. It expands well on the universe even though its just a small pocket. All characters got their own time and the MC is developing well. Can't wait for volume 9.

Great novel can't wait for the next

this is a amazing series but i found this book a bit underwhelming and boring at times. if the author reads these comments i would love to know if theirs going to be a season two of the amine

A bit chaotic and many things happen at once while the story do not move forward so much (safe for 2 big elements). Enjoyable nonetheless

A good volume that starts kinda weird, but it develops into something really enjoyable. And the afterwords of this volume are so wholesome that make you want to cry. Straight out mesmerizing.

Começa num ritmo lento e vai melhorando.Não há muito desenvolvimento dos personagens, mas o grupo conhece novos personagens bastante interessantes.Os pontos negativos são os problemas de autoestima de Haruhiro (tá irritante já) e o "cliffhanger" no final do livro. Bem, o próximo volume já está disponível, então menos mal.

The fight at the end was cool and full of feelings from both sides i really want to see it animated, i want to know whst happens next!
