Absolute Godsend for my husband who developed a hernia in an instant.....he could only cope by holding/pressing it in......he went to doctor who referred him for the operation...and when he asked about a support belt...doc told him they were a waste of money...well he was wrong!! Husband wears it all the time now and feels so much better and can now cope with the months he will probably have to wait for his operation .

I was diagnosed with a small inguinal hernia, which to be honest isn't really bothering me so far. I decided to buy a support with the idea it might reduce the chance of further damage and after reading the reviews thought this product looked like it might be of help. Delivery was prompt and i collected it this afternoon. However on reading the information on the back of the box it came in it it says: "Choose and apply hernia truss for the first time under medical supervision". There is no indication in the advertised product description, sic, that medical advice should be taken before buying and applying a belt. I now have the belt but am wary of use and won't be able to see the doctor for days. Can these things actually cause harm if used inappropriately and shouldn't more advice be available prior to purchase?

I am very pleased with this product. It retains my hernia and is as comfortable as it can be to wear. The product is well made and easy to fit and remove. If you need a support for an Inguinal hernia I would recommend this product.When ordering, remember to check your size and remember to order ether a left or right sided support. the product is only single-sided.

One of the more expensive options but it is well made and works for me. Any belt of this type will cause some inconvenience but I am now living an almost normal life again.But a few things to consider. This item has a limited size range so check carefully before ordering and make sure you specify left or right side. No user instructions, although fitting should be relatively straight forward.

Anyone with a hernia who doesn't buy one of these is a complete idiot. Without one....regular pain. With one ....no pain and a normal life. Simples.

After waiting weeks for a hernia operation, with still no sign of an appointment, the pain and discomfort was wearing me down. So I bought this, despite being told by the doctor that a lot of people didn't find them much use. Wow, I wish I had bought it weeks ago. It has taken the pain away, stopped the hernia from repeatedly "popping out" and enabled me to get on with my life whilst waiting for the op. Excellent product.
