The Great British Porridge Co ( Blueberry & Banana + Red Berry & Pumpkin Seed )

I made my first purchase of this porridge due to the backing of one of the Dragons. It's a bit over-hyped, in my opinion. The instructions say give the bag a shake, presumably to break up any lumped ingredients, add hot water, stir for 30 seconds and wait a further 30 seconds before eating. If that's all you did, you would end up with a lumpy stodgy mess. It takes a lot of stirring of the dry ingredients with a fork just to break up the lumps, then about a minute of stirring with the hot water added to get it to an attractive consistency. Then having waited a further 30 seconds as per the instructions you find it's gone cold and have to reheat it.What you get is a fairly tasty end product but no comparison in quality to a bowl of porridge made from porridge oats and milk.Where this product scores is when you go away on a self-catering holiday because it saves on buying extra milk. On holiday it's acceptable, but at home - no way. It's far too pricey, you could much better buying the same ingredients from a healthfood shop or larger supermarket. However, when you've finished the product you're left with a useful, sturdy self-seal container which is probably why the price of this porridge is so high.After I had made a second purchase, the supplier changed the advertised delivery date to beyond the start of my holiday, so I cancelled the order. I don't suppose the Dragon will read this, but hopefully you will.

Lovely porridge mine was ready in under a minute I put hot water in stirred and was ready to eat saves so much time great product I really like it would recommend
