No it does not. I have polish and laquer on my toe nails and use this product everyday with absolutely no problem.

"Our Shower"? Since I don't shower with you I'm not inclined to answer your direct question. As for your implied question; I bathe in the morning and soaked my feet every other day before bedtime for the initial treatment of my hard and cracked calloused feet and and only about once per week thereafter.
