I have Infernal's magnetic mount in 3 cars and in two spots in my office. They are strong and work flawlessly. I use them both inside my iPhone case and on the outside, depending on the case I am using. It is the easiest and safest way to mount inside a car because of the fast on-off mounting that doesn't require coordination or focus. I have recommended this product to several friends and family members. My only suggestion to Infernal is to offer a stronger magnetic plate option for use inside a phone case. It has to be stronger to work through the case itself. For now I am doubling up on the plates inside the case, and this works well but not perfectly like the rest of the product. Also, to get the mount to stay on the car dash during hot summer months, I installed a very powerful Velcro bond using cheap products from Home Depot. It hasn't fallen off the dash for 3 years since I first installed it.

It is a strong magnet and will hold tightly on to any other magnet, for example a GPS holder, but it can also slide off easily if necessary. Shipping was a bit slow, but well worth the wait once it arrives AND you get two (2) disks.

This works great for larger phones like Pixel 2 XL. I also have a thick case on it, so most holders can't even grasp it. With this metal plate, you can use a magnetic holder in your car without problems*I installed a metal plate inside the case as well but the case is too thick to be held without falling after awhile. These are no better or worse than any other replacement metal plates for use with magnetic mounts. A more expensive option than others though. I ordered the specifically because of the stated dimensions of 3.1x2.75x.4 inches. I actually expected the ".4 inch" dimension for thickness to be mistyped and should have been ".04". However, the dimensions match the product box, not the size of the plates. They are the same small rectangular size of nearly all other options on Amazon. The measured dimensions of the actual product are 2.5x1.8x.05 inches. I wanted a product with a larger surface area as described and thus selected these. They are the same size as other options. They work, but not the size described; 4.5 square inches of surface area vs. 8.5 square inches of surface area.

Excellent product! A perfect replacement for the original magnetic mount strip which I had attached to my cell phone protective casing, which became damaged and unusable. If you have never used a magnetic mount for your cell phone/ GPS, I would recommend that you do, and order a couple of these replacement strips from these guys, quality, price and service is outstanding!

These magnets are too thin. They work but not sure if they will secure the phone to the mount if I hit a large bump in the road.

Not made to stand the Phoenix heat. The rubber turned it a gelatinous goo from the heat. It was very difficult to remove the gooey mess from my windshield.

I have one of these between my phone and case. It holds my phone on the Infernal magnetic windshield mount without issues. The mount base is magnetic but the plate is just metal, so you don't have to worry about your phone being near credit cards or whatever. I primarily use this setup for phone navigation in my car and have no complaints.

This is an amazing product. Sticks well to the dash board, I put the magnet in my case between the he case and my phone as I didn’t want to stick it to the phone directly and t works perfectly! It comes with 2 magnets, one sticky one and one spare with no sticky side. Very happy with this purchase!

The product is simply and effective. It fits the sir vent grill well, and the magnet holds the phone firm. I was worried that vibrations would shake the phone, but, on normal roads, it seems fine

Not as powerful magnet as my original Anker magnet, but it holds my OnePlus 6 securely. It hasn't fallen off my dashboard so I'm happy.

Recently bought the phone mount an have been using it since. My biggest worry was how strong the magnet was. After testing it (i.e. Hitting the brakes hard, sharp turns etc), the magnet lives up to hype. Phone didn't even budge. The best part about the mount is how strong that adhesive is. It took some force for me to take it off the windshield. This is a must have if you are looking for a car mount.
