Omega One Veggie Rounds, 14mm Rounds, Sinking, 8 Oz Container

I like this company. Family owned and doing things right. The Veggie Rounds are a good value and have great ingredients. My fish and shrimp love them. I am planning on buying mostly all my fish food from Omega One. I think they have great products and use fresh ingredients.

my bottom feeders just love this product. they come out where I can see them to get these. I have several dwarf plecos, a Panda Garra, a Bristlenose, a butterfly loach, and a purple dragon goby..ALL of them munch on these treats. Omega One is a trustworthy quality name brand. They make great quality food products for aquarium fish's. The sell only slightly higher priced than the run of the mill foods but the are so much better for your fish. I would not change to another brand. I use Omega one and New Life Spectrum products only and my fish's are healthy and have been for years.

If you look at most algae wafers, the first ingredients are wheat products and maybe fish meal. You might have to get pretty far down the ingredient list to find any algae or pure fish. The first five ingredients in these veggie rounds are kelp, spirulina, salmon, halibut, and seafood mix. I included a picture of the ingredients from the ones I received, as they are slightly different from those listed. Still just as good, though. The difference shows in the speed with which my fish go after these. They also soften up faster in water than other pellets I have used.This is a quality product that your fish will enjoy and appreciate. First rate.

I have not fed these to my fish yet, so I cannot comment on if they favor this wafer over the one I currently use from Ken's Fish.But be aware before purchasing, the ingredients shown in the pictures is NOT ACCURATE, and not what you will receive. You will find a better list of the current ingredients under the "Important Information" section in the description of this product, and even then it is slightly different to the product you receive.I have attached a picture of the ingredients list, the one on the left is the current (as of August 15th, 2020) formula they are selling, the one on the right is from a year or two ago. I am very particular on the quality of wafers I buy, for the price paid, I would want the ingredients listed in the old formula, and even the inaccurate one they have pictured. I would not knowingly pay as much for the one they are currently selling that has more wheat germ, flour, gluten, and rice in it, unless they add several more ounces for the same price.At this time I don't believe I will return it, but I will not purchase this again through Amazon, if I am in a store and find it has the formula I am looking for, then I'll pay that price for it.

It was a challenge to find a food my fish would eat; they didn't like flakes, or pellets. An employee at a Petsmart recommended these, so I bought a small bottle of them. I break them up into 4ths and drop them in the tank, and now my fish go crazy trying to get to them first; they're like kids in a candy shop! :)Been using them for about a year, and my fish have all grown stupendously on this product. Even had to go get a larger, 55-gallon tank; they outgrew the 20-gallon quickly.Had been buying them locally in the store, but they want the same price for a 4oz bottle that Amazon wants for an 8oz - so no brainer there, start buying them from Amazon. :)

I feed this as part of a complete diet for my fancy goldfish (along with Saki Hikari, and Repashy Soilent Green). I do believe that the growth of my fish is increased when I feed this product on a regular basis.The wafers are fairly large, about the size of a dime, so I generally break them up into fourths before feeding. They are quite hard, but do soften quickly once added to the tank. For fish that are sensitive to dry foods, you could soak them for a couple of minutes and they would be good to go. These do sink quickly, which is great for the goldfish, or any bottom feeders.

The bottom crew love them. Pleco’s, Loaches and Corydora’s really like them. Pleco’s don’t even touch the algae wafers anymore. Even the fish come down to steal a few bites. Highly recommend.

I've been feeding my fish these for a couple years and they love it. i usually buy them at the aquarium & pet superstore near me but i randomly found it here for a cheaper price.

I feed these Veggie Rounds to my Plecos and other bottom feeder because there is less wheat. Most other fish food is very high in wheat.
