You will not regret it
Update ***** 6/26/20 *****So I did the entire counter alone without using windex. Get a really sharp razor, a straight edge and a good cutting surface. I took my time and used as few sheets as possible. (I went length wise and used one full sheet that covered from the bottom of the backsplash all the way to the front edge and a second strip to cover the backsplash the same way) I have a 6 year old and 4 cats who despite my best efforts feel entitled to be on my counter. The material has held up beautifully. Even where the seams are, there have been no issues with lifting. You can't see them unless you're looking for them or sliding your hand across it. They clean up easily and hold their shine. I did have to cut small strips around my sink when we replaced it and peeling it off left absolutely no residue. You definitely can't reuse it once it's been peeled off though. I recommend it 100%.‐--------------------------------------So I did a litmus test with this product first. We're in the process of redoing our kitchen and new countertops are just not in the budget yet. Enter - this peel and stick. I watched the how to's and read a few articles about putting this on. Fortunately, the wide rolls cover my countertop back to front with extra so I can run the product straight down, left to right, with minimal seams. On to the test portion. I knew I would have extra so I cut a 4 in thick strip off and made a few pieces out of.The first test was two small, overlapped sections on my backsplash. Other than my edge cut being crooked, you could not tell there was an overlap without getting really close up or running your fingers over it.Second test was just standard install which went super smooth. The product is definitely thicker than I expected and the adhesive seems pretty strong. Even with a small strip I cannot stress enough, GO SLOW.Third test was using windex to help lay the product. (I had read about a DIY'er or 2 doing this. Think screen protector install). I used a decent amount (probably too much for such a small section), used the squeegee/smoother tool to lay it flat and get rid of any bubbles, and a soft microfiber cloth to soak up the excess liquid as it seeped out. This was my biggest concern because I had not seen a review of this specific product being installed with windex to help slide it around and smooth bubbles.Test results? All three sections stick just the same after sitting over night. (I can't seem to attach photos yet). They've been on for about a week now, being abused as we rearrange and keep working and so far so good! My only complaint is right along the edge where the counter meets the built in backsplash, the product didn't seem to adhere well and a small piece of the corner edge is raised. I'm not sure if this is a result of my windex test, not truly scrubbing down the counter, or simply the curved edge that it is against. But - overall, I'd say the windex helped. Use it sparingly, especially if you're doing this alone. It will definitely help with better placement.Once I have this completely installed in another week or so, I will update my review accordingly.

Sturdy
I covered my kitchen counters. It has been 6 months and it still looks great. The tiny spots makes the seams disappear. There is a seam in the first picture and even that close it is barely visible. This is a much higher quality than what I have gotten from the local big box store.

Good product… just order more than you need!!
I’m so glad I followed the advice on the other reviews and ordered more than I needed. My biggest complaint is that mid way through my project I discovered that on TWO of the rolls the adhesive was missing altogether! I threw away so much. Fortunately I had enough to complete my project and it turned out just fine. I’m not a DIY-er, so I found that it is not super easy to apply, but not terribly difficult either. And my kitchen counters look good enough! Better than ugly Formica that was there before.

Awesome affordable way to update your counters!
I had redone our ugly green kitchen countertops a few years ago with a painting product that didn't turn out all that great and it didn't last. I decided to try this while the hubs was out of town on a hunting trip, which is typically when I do my home remodeling projects, haha!I scrubbed the counters well and had areas with peeling paint, so my counters were not smooth. It was a bit challenging at first, especially the edges, which are plentiful on our island.I am blown away with how great they look, everyone thinks we got new counters, including my husband when he got home! So far they are holding up well, its been 3 months. I do always use a hotpad under anything that's even slightly warm, just to be safe. I have an area that I noticed has a tiny tear in it, so I cut a smaller piece and put over the top, worked great, you can't even tell! This pattern is so forgiving, I think it's ideal!

Fantastic transformation that's affordable!!! Win!
Ive had this product on my bathroom counter for nearly 3 years and it still looks great. I purchased more and did my kitchen. Wow, what a transformation! I'm especially loving that it cleans up nicely. The 35 year old Formica underneath is worn and everything that touches it, stains it. This film was a cheap and easy fix! It has truly wiped out the time I've spent scrubbing and bleaching counters, only to have them look dirty again the same hour.Tips: Watch videos on how to apply. Take your time! I found that applying it front-to-back was best - far fewer crease and bubble problems. For the bubbles I did get, I warmed the a little with a hair dryer, then poke them with a sewing needle and flatten with the edge of a credit card.

amazing!
I was a little worried this would look fake but I could not believe how good it turned out. It is really easy to use and my husband stood back and watched me cover the counters. Its easy to fix if you make a mistake so you can really have fun with this stuff. I ended up covering places that I did not plan on covering, like inside the drawers and shelves. Its inexpensive and one roll covers a good bit. I used 2 rolls and covered all of the counters around the stove , sink and bar with some left over. I can change up the colors anytime I want a different look.

This is fantastic!
I was itching for something prettier in my kitchen, and mom came across the idea of papering the countertops, since I couldn't afford to replace them with anything nice. This pattern looks like the real thing! We made sure to prepare the surface good, and it stuck well. We added three coats of urethane to the top, added a pretty facing on the counter, and a wallpaper border to the wall, with caulk where it meets. The results are fabulous! You'd never know from glancing at them that they're not actually granite. Probably in large part due to the real tile on the front, but still! I'm in love.

color is off
was a bit disappointed in the color, it has blue in it. Still used it in a small area and it was easy to apply and actually looks pretty good. Just wish it would of been true to the color that is advertised.
