A Restoration Comedy Indeed!
As a female dramatist, Benn, clearly brings out the society after Charles 2's restoration of monarchy. Mentioning the characters of Cavaliers of Charles 1 in that society, is solicitory for the play. At last but not the least, the play is quite enjoyable; so considering to buy the book, is worth it!Though on my personal thought, the value of the book is not just for this comedy. Pricy and incongruous.😛
