I got a set for my girlfriend. Liked the how well made they looked and good length for a reasonable price. Used a work on large diesel truck with big dual batteries. Worked great.

Finally - 2 Gauge wires, as advertised. I bought these to cut the ends off and use to wire a power inverter which needs 4 gauge wire. It's cheaper (and easier) to use these than to buy single lines at Lowes. When I cut the ends off and measured the wires, they came in at just over 6.5mm in diameter, which equates to 2 AWG! Took three different sets to finally get ones that are what they say they are. While I will not be using them as jumper cables, the parrot clamps appear to be good quality with a strong bite.Please note though, these are copper coated aluminum (have to read the "special features" area to find it - that should be clearly in the description). While straight copper has the best (100%) conductivity, and aluminum is only about 60% - that's gauge for gauge. Since I need 4 AWG and got 2 AWG, the aluminum conductivity should be close enough for my uses.

Works amazing. Just hook it up and starts my car immediately. So far don’t have to wait for the battery to charge before it cranks over.

Seem like nice cables. They are copper coated aluminum. However, they are not 2 ga cables. Wire fits in 4 ga cable sizer and 4 ga terminals. Rubber type coating is also thinner than expected. Clamps are nice and strong. Compared side by side with FJC 45245 2 ga cables these are noticeably smaller cables. The FJC do not fit in the 4 ga cable sizer nor 4 ga terminals, they are actually 2 ga cables. These have rubber dipped clamp handles where the FJC are painted of the same type and size. The FJC have thicker rubber coating on the cables and are more pliable at lower temps so far, they have only been down to 30F yet.

haven't had occasion to use them yet, but the build quality and the length alone rate 5 stars. someone called me for a jump 2 weeks ago, & the car was stuck in a handicap spot, with a buffer zone painted on both sides, sidewalk on one side, & another car parked ( thankfully they were pulling out as i pulled up ) in the first spot next to it on the other side. with these cables, thete's no more "what side is your battery on", or "i'll push your car out of the space so my cables can reach", or parking out in traffic to give a jump; now i can pull up behind the vehicle, or even on the other side of some parking lot landscaping feature & hand out jumps. win.

you think 25 feet sounds long until you can't get your cars nose to nose. My wife's car was parked nose in and I couldn't get close enough for regular cables. A buddy had some really long ones and I went right out and looked these up. Not a month later I am dead in Knott's Berry Farm parking and a lady is parked a couple of spots over (she doesn't want to move and have someone come along and take her spot) her cables are too short. I fish these out and bingo, back in action.They are long enough that with a Toyota Highlander in front with battery in front left of battery compartment and Infiniti G37x in nose to tail with battery in right rear of battery compartment they still reach (tried it)not an electrician so cannot vouch for 2 gauge wire. Box is fine for storage if you are not a tow truck operator. they fit back inside without much difficulty for me, then again I can refold a paper map they way it was originally.

Saving lots of tow truck $$!!! My brand new Buick would not start due to sitting in cold weather for six days. It was sitting in the drive way (facing the garage) so we were going to call a tow truck because we could not find cables long enough at the local Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Ace Hardware no store carries these. The Max they carry us 16 ft. Note: this has happened before with other vehicles and we always called the two truck company for a jump at a charge of $75 +! We parked the truck in the driveway behind my car and used these extra long cables. They worked great, are of good quality and great price. Very satisfied 😄
