Nice stamp, but a little on the thin side. Glad I used my stamping platform, as it was necessary to stamp multiple times to fully pick up the image before heat embossing. Because I make A7 size cards, this was just a bit wide and definitely too short, which I was aware of before purchasing. I think I was still able to achieve a decent cardfront by incorporating a scalloped die at the bottom in order to make it a bit longer, since I didn’t want to cut my card base down and then have to make an custom size envelope. I only wish there were more detail in the flowers that appear mostly white (melted embossing powder) in my pic, but it’s how the stamp is designed. Also, I made sure to trim down the side of the stamped image that the design was wider than on the other side; thereby evening out the design a bit. Although it’s a busy frame design, I’m still glad I made this purchase - and definitely at this price point. A7 Frame stamps are difficult to find! So it just took some patience in getting enough embossing ink in detail areas in order to coat it with embossing powder. I can definitely use this stamp set for multiple card types and will play around with different mediums! I think even a black & white version would look pretty. Btw, i used Nuvo Shimmer Powders to spray/ and fine detail paint this design (I may have used too much color) - but had to seal it with Krylon Mixative Spray, as the pearlescent mica was rubbing off on my fingers. Once sprayed, it’s sealed (Let it air out for a day and they’ll be no residual odor. Also, this stuff is Flammable, so heat emboss BEFORE sealing!!!). So now i love the Nuvo shimmer powders. So I do recommend that you try this stamp, just know it’s a bit thin and you’ll have to work it to pick up all the detail. But I’m still happy that i purchased it and it didn’t take too long to arrive either!
