I bought this product for a friend who was fed up of his washing blowing off the line and sometimes the springs rusting using his existing pegs. He has tested these and is really impressed. So much so that I going to order the same item for myself. They also come in a neat little box which is very handy. Great price and exceptional quality.

Last autumn when visiting Japan House in London I spied some aluminium clothes pegs in the gift shop, which were sadly out of stock, but it set me on a path to find an alternative. Initially I wasn’t that enamoured of the other examples I came across, as most were stainless steel rather than aluminium, and often quite fussy-looking, but after several months searching, I decided to go with stainless steel after all as they seemed to be much more widely available - and here we are. Initially I was quite worried as the Amazon listing called these clothes pegs, but the label on the box actually says food clips. Needn’t have worried though, as these are small, but super-strong, and can hold up even really sodden jeans or wet woolly jumpers with absolutely no problems. You get a huge boxful (60-odd), in a simple minimalist design, so both form and function. Great value too. 100% recommend.

We've been using these pegs for some months now and they have been exposed to a good deal of wet weather. So far so good: no sign of rust and none have broken. The only criticism is that they are on the small size (length wise). That aside they are sturdy and give a good grip. An added advantage is that when the sun shines they glitter and this may deter birds from settling on the clothes line and doing what birds tend to do! All in all a good little product.

Value for money, strong and sturdy

They are good quality but don’t tend to grip well -perfect for socks, underwear, but when hanging T-shirts etc, the 2 edges tend to toward each other as pegs didn’t stay in place

My husband is always giving out about the pegs breaking so when I saw these I bought them and said now if they break I give up he's absolutely delighted with them the neighbour asked where he got them so he can order some aswell

The pegs are small in size but have very good grip. Hopefully they won't rust.

I have bought these as sick of plastic pegs shattering and snapping. These are fantastic, though they do slide on plastic line , I tend to double up with another clothes item if they do. Value for money, will need to watch that the ‘kids’ don’t drop them on the lawn and they get run over by mower as they are smaller than regular pegs and not colourful.
