Approved Ring Buoy

The life buoy rings are USCG approved and a very high quality. They even have the required date stamped on them which is required when using them in marinas. I purchased 5 and I am very pleased with the price and quality.

We needed this ring for our commercial condo pool. It is coast guard approved which was our main criteria. Amazon had the best price . I could have gotten it from a life guard site but they were charging $40 shipping!

We live on a swimming pond and my 16 year old daughter loves to have friends over for swim parties. Our last safety buoy was too old to do its job. I was thrilled to find this one at a great price. The high Vis makes sure everyone knows where it is.

I'm familiar with this life ring from work aboard a ship. The ring is long-lasting, even when subjected to the element for most of the year.

This product lasted 3 years at our lakefront property where it enjoyed the blazing Texas sun every single day. I don’t know how long we should expect these to last. I did have hopes that it would make it to at least the 5 year point but it didn’t. I did a lot of searching and couldn’t find another product that looked like it would be much more durable than this one so we purchased it again.

I fish offshore (8-12 miles) on the Great Lakes. I have all of the legally required safety equipment on board but it isn't always handy. The more people and fishing equipment you get on deck the more that flotation cushions, throw bags, extra PFD's and other things end up below deck. My boat isn't large enough to mount this life preserver anywhere without impeding access to my fishing gear so it lives right up on the dash of the cabin/helm. All guests see it and know what it is for. It is within reach of whomever is at the helm. It was obvious to the USCG Aux when they inspected my boat and awarded my 2022 safe inspection decal. If I ever need to use it, I know it'll be there and have every faith that it'll soon be doing its job in the water.

This is the REAL THING. No toy life preserver. If you get this, buy the rope and hook too. Our grandkids have been swimming off of our dock this year, so I wanted to have something very handy in case of emergencies. I mounted it on the outside of a closet on the dock, on a hook with the rope already tied to it.

Nice product. It is just like the picture. We haven’t tested it in the water yet but it looks durable and capable of doing the job.
