Excellent model
I appreciated an excellent opportunity to obtain a model of this vintage aircraft that no longer flies. The L-1011 is among the best of the airliners. However, it never got the opportunity that its competitors did and despite its advanced technology of the time, never sold in the huge numbers the DC/MD-10/11 did. another companion to my airliner collection.

Not as good as it looks...
The model is ok ish. it looked like used instead of new. Had some dust and old rubber band pieces stuck to it. The model looks a bit yellow instead of white, and the tail fin is dark green instead of black. The scale looks weird and small (1:250) and it was very poorly packed. It was cheap though compared to other models.

jumbo jet, jumbo dissapointment.
the purchase of this was the second biggest disappointment in my life...the first being my marriage...even my dog gave a look of dissatisfaction whilst opening the package...its gonna look pretty cool under some heavy objects in my garage.
