At first, I was hesitant to spend $300+ on a beanbag chair. I've purchased several of the $100 ones from Amazon over the past few years and they were always decent for the price. But I came across these and was interested since it could double as a bed, for when relatives come to visit. I was really impressed with the quality of the cover and the foam material inside. It's not quite as soft as what I'm used to, but it also maintains its form a lot better and I don't have to re-fluff it every time I sit down. I got one of the matching foot rests as well, and that's a great addition. I have two young kids so the ability to wash the cover on this is really nice as well, I'm sure I'll take advantage of it often. If you have money to spend on a beanbag, this is absolutely worth it. Super comfortable and notably higher quality than the cheaper alternatives on Amazon.

I'm writing this review because I was hesitant to by this "been bag" because of the reviews. When I was a teenager I had a bean bag chair. Since I was a teenage boy I didn't car that it leaked thousands of Styrofoam beans that ultimately Mom would vacuum up. I know bad son. But I grew up and now my youngest wanted a big bean bag chair. No way i wanted my wife to have to deal with that. After doing research i realized they use memory foam chunks now. All kinds of bad reviews. But I went with this queen size. This thing is so cool. My Son loves it. Also the added mattress functionality is so smart. And the sofy corduroy bag is very soft. Filled up huge after an hour or so outside of the packaging. Easy to assemble it might take 2 people because it is heavy. Yes day one it does have a slight chemical smell but not overpowering, I fully expect the smell to go away in a few days. Joking I told the wife we were going to get rid of our sofa and chairs and just have 5 of these things. But they at least for now are that comfortable. Now keep in mind I'm a little over 6'3" and weigh about 360ish. I sat down on this thing and I did not sink to the floor. It is comfortable easy to sit in. This one is a winner. 2 weeks later this thing is still awesome. It has filled out fully and is so cool.

It’s very cozy. I have to fight my cat for it. He usually wins . He does think it is his big cat bed. This is a full size . I gave 4 stars instead of 5 just because as a bed it’s not that comfortable. Lumpy. But as a chair it is the best. It was surprisingly easy to put the bed into a chair . I’m 60 years old 110 pounds I I didn’t it fast and easy

Let me start by saying that I was kinda disappointed when I unpacked it. I got the full size. Its amazing how they can fit it in the box it comes in. Very tightly/vacuumed packed and compressed. I thought there was no way it will expand to fill the container. You absolutely need to give it a full week to expand. You will need to work to break up the pieces of foam. After a week it did seem that it was lacking in the correct amount of foam. I called customer service...which is wonderful....and they sent me a booster pack of foam, no questions asked. I just put in the booster of foam and I'm very pleased with the feel of the mattress. Extremely comfortable as a bed and a bean bag. Perfect for guests and kids as an extra bed. Great value, great product! Would recommend.

When I first got it I noticed immediately that there was not enough foam. I knew going into this that it might happen to me after reading all of the reviews but I guess I was in denial. Luckily the customer service is great and they sent me more foam at no cost within 10 days. It is now 3 times larger than it was before. It's very comfortable. Nobody has slept on it yet but I laid down for a little while and it isn't amazing as a bed but it beats laying on hardwood floors. I'm a large adult and didn't touch the floor so it's not absolutely terrible. It was terrible when there wasn't any foam though. With so many issues on the foam I'm surprised they don't just provide the normal amount to begin with. The foam itself sticks together at first. You have to break it apart. You can do this outside of the bag. When I looked inside and saw the type of foam they use I understand why it sticks. It's an annoyance at first but stays expanded than other teams over time. Pros: The concept is cool and convenient Comfortable bean bag The structure of the foam holds up well after many uses Cats love it! Customer service is great Cons: Not enough foam with original purchase Zipper was broken to gain access to foam. (I'm aware you have to use a paperclip to get access but the zipper itself looked melted and there was no hole to put the paperclip in.) Jumped through hoops to repair the zipper and get more foam (2 week ordeal to finally use bean bag/bed) Uncomfortable bed but manageable I would have easily given this 5 stars total if all the foam that should have been provided in the first place came in. I wouldn't have had to even make a zipper repair if this was the case. Additionally, I think the price is too high for what you get. It's not an amazing/wow product. If you're looking for a comfortable bean bag I suggest to spend half the cost for a different brand. If you like the concept of having an extra bed get a futon. If you're like me and need the extra bed once in a blue moon and need the storage space then this is for you. Overall I would rate this as completely average. Not the best thing but also not the worst.

I bought a full size bag the first go around. It arrived quickly as promised. My wife called to ask how it was when she heard it had arrived. My exact response was “very underwhelming”. This was due to the foam not yet expanding. So, after waiting a couple days, my opinion completely changed. The stuffing did expand and my kids now loved the bag. We even had guests come stay that used it as a mattress. They were impressed. It obviously wasn’t the most comfortable bed they’ve had, but for a couple nights it worked great. We were so impressed now that I decided to buy a second one. This time I purchased a queen size bag, certain that we’d be blown away. However it’s now been almost 48 hours and the foam still has not expanded much. The foam was way more clumpy than the full size bed and much more difficult to break up. It was compressed so tightly into sheets (it comes rolled up not in a cube like the video shows) that the sheets are not breaking up. Even when “massaging” them as their videos demonstrate, the foam is not breaking apart. After almost 2 days, my full size bag is bigger, more full, and has significantly more support than the queen size bag. As a bed there is no way you could use it. It lies so flat that you’d be lying on the ground. And the remaining clumps are so uncomfortable you’d never be able to sleep anyway. I’ve read a lot of reviews about needing more stuffing. I’m honestly pretty shocked that with as many complaints as there are about understuffing that this continues to be a problem. You’d think that the company would automatically decide to re-examine the stuffing amount for the bags and correct the issue. That said though, it is true that I didn’t need more for the full bag. It was perfect. But the queen bag is obviously under-stuffed. Another issue is that the inner lining is very different between the two bags. I’ll attach pictures. The full size bag has the liner that you see in the pictures with the company logo on it. The queen size bag has some generic liner around it that sounds like a parachute rubbing around anytime you move it. Maybe this was an earlier version that’s been sitting in their warehouse? You’d never be able to sleep on the bed because the liner is so noisy. Again, not sure why the change in the liner from the full bag to the queen bag, but the queen bag is terrible by comparison. It’s sad that the quality of the product shifted so much from the full to the queen size bag. I’ve owned a luvsac and even liked the full way more than the luvsac. But the queen size cost more money and was a significantly different (and worse) product. I’ve heard their customer service is amazing so I’ll put that to the test after giving the bag another day or two just to be sure. I’ll update my review after I speak with them. In my opinion it will absolutely need a new liner but most likely a new liner and new stuffing. In the photos, the full is on the left, queen on the right. The photos don’t do justice to the true “lumpiness” of the queen. Also, after looking at the tag on the liners, the full size says it’s a 80/20 polyester/cotton mix while the queen says it’s a 65/35 poly/cotton mix. Surprising as you’d expect the one with more poly to maybe be noisier but it’s the opposite. The queen liner is extremely loud. UPDATE: I called the company to see how to fix the issues with the queen bag I received. I was excited to see if their customer service was as impressive as others had made it sound. FAIL. I called and got an answering machine or voicemail which stated to leave your name and phone number and then they’d call you back as soon as possible. I left my name, number, and a brief description of my issue. That was almost two weeks ago. Still have not heard anything back and have been too busy myself to try calling them again. I have changed my review to now only one star due to the customer service, or lack thereof, being just as unimpressive as the product. I’ll continue to try to reach out to them and will update the review once I hear from them. Until then, I honestly can not recommend this product to anyone. FINAL UPDATE: I finally had time to try and contact their customer service again. Again I had to leave a message. This time however, I received a call back from Steph the very next day. She was awesome and every bit as impressive as other reviewers have mentioned. After giving her a brief description of the problem, she gave me her email, asked for the amazon order number, and then sent an entirely new queen size bag (no cover as the old cover is perfect). The new “insert” as they call them arrived yesterday. I could tell the difference immediately upon opening the box. Within 5 minutes of opening the box, the bag already had more fullness and “fluff” than the now couple month old one does. I can already tell we’ll love it just like we did the full size one. Also, the liner now is the exact same liner as the liner that was on the full size bag. It is a significantly better liner. Steph said they have a couple different liners that they use. Not sure why. The brown one is WAY better than the other one. The only thing I could think of is that maybe the brown ones are newer and occasionally you get one of the older ones out of their stock. Anyway, the new bag looks like it will be just as impressive as the full size one. Steph was amazing. Loved the ease of working with her and the company’s obvious commitment to quality and providing memorable customer experiences. They’ve turned us back into fans again. Now looking forward to buying some pillow pods from them. Review has been updated to 3 stars. I couldn’t go more than that just because it did take multiple phone calls to get a hold of the company and also the fact that the quality of the first queen bag that was sent was so much worse than the quality of the full bag and second queen bag. Had the second queen bag been what was sent the first time around, this would be a five star review.

Easily the best purchase of the year. I bought the biggest one they had and do not regret it at all. I got an extra bag of fill as the original was a little lacking. But everyone loves it. In bag mode it comfortably seats a 10 and 5 yo together although getting two adults on it is tough unless you’re very friendly with each other 😏. The kids love launching themselves at it from wherever they can. Sometimes to my dismay. I’m glad I don’t have a loft or I’m sure they would be B.A.S.E. Jumping onto it. Unfolding it into blob or mattress mode leaves me with a giant king sized futon mattress that we lovingly call the blob. This thing was to kill you and absorb your life. And it kills you with comfort by sucking you in and making it impossible to escape. Add a sheet set and comfortable blanket and it’s game over. The kids literally disappear into the blob and get so cozy they don’t want to get out. Definitely a fun and functional addition to the house. The material used is high quality and the cloth and zippers are higher end. I have seen others that use cheap zippers that fail or seams that come apart but I can attest to the quality and durability of this product as I myself as a 200lb adult often throw myself onto the bag. The cover is a little difficult to get back on if you are by yourself but it’s doable. Being able to put the cover in the washing machine is a godsend as the first day had a spill. I had to contact customer service when I first got it and they were super responsive and helpful. If your on the fence like I was I would say get it. I don’t have any regrets.

Let’s start from the top. I was looking for some extra comfortable seating inside my living room when I came across the episode of shark tank and decided a beanbag could work really well, after all it can double as a bed too and looked comfortable on TV. I ordered the beanbag it arrived and got to setting up. First thing you notice out of the box is this thing is really weird the foam is lumpy but it says to give it a few days and let it expand so that’s what I did. Few days later I’ve got a decent sized bag that was kind of comfortable to sit in but an absolute wreck to get out of. You’re so low to the ground I can’t imagine someone with bad knees or a worse back than mine to get out of it. So I decided to see what the bed was like now that it’s fully expanded and this easily was the most disappointing thing about the bag. I would rather sleep on a carpeted floor than on this “mattress”. I cannot stress this enough, if you are looking to buy this bean bag for its functionality just stop. After realizing my $300 wasn’t well spent I decided I’m returning this because I’m not getting what I paid for. However, in order to return it you need to find a way to vacuum seal it and pack it away. My answer to this solution was buying a strong enough vacuum cleaner and putting this monstrosity in a mattress bag I bought from U-Haul and buying a new box from UPS. So in order to return this thing I had to spend a little over $100 on materials to return it. The positive from this experience is that I’ve got a good vacuum cleaner that I didn’t need but I will 100% get more use out of compared to this lumpy, disappointing, overpriced beanbag. Please save your time and money and look elsewhere.
