You'll need a 5/8 to allow for the end to pass through. Just make sure you use a grommet to cover the edges of the holes so the fiber isn't on a sharp edge to keep it from getting broken.

Q: Is this cable suitable for outdoor runs?

Used this to replace my Verizon fiber optic cable that my dog bit through. About 60 feet of it is outdoor for the last 6 months with no problem. So I would say yes. I don’t know if it was made for outdoors but it certainly works fine there

Q: I see from the answers that you have an outdoor direct bury version that is more expensive but can this version be used in 2 inch buried conduit?

I say yes, as long as the conduit is dry and waterproof, and the conduit covers the cable all the way into the house. Direct burial cable has a tougher outer jacket to resist water and UV from sunlight. In your case the conduit has to do that.
