Great helmet; Great Value! Used plenty already!
Hands down a wonderful helmet! Scorpion has notoriously tight cheek pads, but they thermo-form quite well after just a few decent rides. I couldn't care less about the modular function, but I will say, it locks down nice and secure and it isn't nearly as loud as modulars I've ridden with before. The drop down sun visor is also a life saver, although the tab to pull it down/push it up is harder to find than the one on my trusty EXO-1000 and I'm a bit bummed about that. It also fits a comm. System very well, with speaker cut outs that don't allow pressure points. I use a Sena 20S and it fits nice and flush on the side. Although if you opt to use the chin curtain like I do, you have to be careful when you utilize the modular function because the microphone will be in the way when you lift the face of your helmet and I would hate to damage my Sena; simple fix would be to not use the chin curtain if you use a comm. System, but again, I don't much care for the modular trend, and I'm keeping the chin curtain on mine for warmth and quiet. Vents are also well executed- they do more than just preventing the visor from fogging: you can actually feel a nice cooling air flow when they're open! A concept missed by many of my previous helmets. All in all, a beautiful helmet and IMHO the best bang for your buck.

Great Beginner Helmet!
Bought this for my new dual sport after using my dirt bike helmet, the wind noise past 50 mph was very rough but this fixed that. I wear a large with my Bell Moto-9 and ordered a large here. Fit perfectly. I installed my mount for my Cardo, and it fit very well though the speaker was a little tricky to get in between the liner. I was worried about the ears being too tight with earplugs in but it is not an issue. The built-in sun shade is extremely nice. And then the flip up face makes it much easier to take off so it doesn't feel like I am ripping the skin out of my ears from the earplugs. If I have any complaints, it would be that the sun visor on top of the helmet doesn't move and honestly doesn't block that much sun. It is almost more cosmetic at that point. The ventilation isn't amazing. It's passable but doesn't throughout the helmet. Also, it would be much nicer if the liner was removable. My Cardo headphone wires are just tucked in wherever I can find a spot. Whereas the wires in my Moto-9 are hidden. Speaking of the Moto-9, I really wish this helmet had MIPS. Being an off-road guy, this technology has saved my head on more than one occasion. I almost didn't get this helmet for that reason but there were too many cool features to ignore. Now I know what you're thinking: this guy's complaints are just as big as his positives. This is true but I am also nit-picking. A lot of what I stated is what would make a perfect helmet for me. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. It has made riding far more comfortable. I love the flip-down sun shade and how comfortable it is. Would I recommend this to others? I already have. If Scorpion made a $400 model with all the things I have listened above, would I buy it? Absolutely!

Great all-around helmet, but try one on first if you can - small sizing.
I've been riding with this helmet for a couple months now and I really like it a lot. I'm not an adventure rider, but I have some vision issues where glare causes some major issues. I picked this helmet as it has a peak which blocks quite a bit of that glare if I'm facing the sun. I ride only on paved roads, but I've gone up to about 80 mph with the peak attached and other than being kind of loud, I'm able to do head checks with no issues and have not had any issues with neck fatigue as of yet. Unfortunately the peak is NOT adjustable, but is easily removed. This helmet fits very tight. I typically wear an adult small and this helmet fits, but is maybe a little tighter than it should be. It feels better after the break-in period and its my understanding that alternate cheek pads can be ordered in the next size up to help with this (I haven't done this yet). I have a cheapie Bluetooth receiver attached and there isn't quite as much room in this helmet for the microphone as some other helmets I've used, but it fits well enough. There are cutouts for the speakers and holes in the liner to help prevent muffling the sound too much. Unfortunately, I can't seem to talk on the phone with anyone if I'm going above about 45 MPH due to how loud the helmet gets. This may be resolved by removing the peak, but I haven't tried it yet. I've ridden at about 40 degrees to 85 degrees in this helmet so far and it keeps my head pretty warm. At 85 I can tell it could use a bit more venting/airflow. I use a pretty thin wet skull cap when it gets hot and found after riding a while that I feel pressure near the temples and forehead.. Again, smaller sizing - I'm sure the next size up would fix this. Overall I really like this helmet a lot and for the price point with all of its features, you can't go wrong.

The Good: It's as quiet as me Nolas N91 and feels a little lighter to me. It also has a nice large visor area with good visability. The parts that need further development: Alot of air flows through the chin curtain, and it would probably be quieter if the chin curtain was a little thicker, after all, I think you would get enough air through the chin vent. I don't find that everclear coating works that well, and on the cooler days I keep the chin vent closed because of all the cool air coming in from under the helmet, so the shields fog up pretty easily. I find that the visor is either too high or not long enough so as it is practically useless for keeping the sun out of your eyes. The tinted drop down visor should be tinted darker
