This is a great tool for anybody who has issues aiming using controller analogue sticks!
This is a great tool for anybody who has issues aiming using controller analogue sticks. Some users complain about the lack of sensitivity when using products such as this, but those users are expecting the exact feel of how a mouse/keyboard combo feels on a computer, which is not possible due to the fact that console games are programmed to work in tandem within the parameters of the console game controller itself. What this device enables you to do is replace your controller with a mouse and keyboard, enabling you to have much greater precision when aiming at high speeds in FPS games. The mouse sensitivity can be increased or decreased (separately from the standard in-game settings), but when tweaked to your own liking with the in game sensitivity settings, your aiming accuracy and speed is greatly increased!I tested the product for a good number of hours in Call of Duty Modern Warfare on the PS4 and after a bit of practice, I was able to run around with a fully auto weapon, squeezing off single headshots at high speeds - much faster than I ever could on a pad!I tested the device with a cheap Microsoft mouse and an HP keyboard and both devices were working from the second I plugged them in. The manual which comes with the device is basic, but contains highly important information, as unfortunately (and this is the only drawback), the keyboard bindings cannot be changed! At first I thought this was going to be a big problem, but I was able to get used to the key configuration fairly quickly (it uses WASD for movement but a couple of the other keys are in awkward places for me at least).I've used the Frag'n'stein for the PS3 in the past and that too took some getting used to but turned me into a COD monster online, and I've no doubt this will be the same - great device, nice design and cheap too!

Very good but has some inaccuracies in first-person-shooter games
Both I and a relative bought this product at the same time recently (had it a couple of weeks now) so we can revive on our PS3’s what we did 10 years ago playing online against each other incessantly for years on Call of Duty (on the PC back then). Neither of us could usefully operate the SixAxis PS3 game controller for first-person-shooter games so we invested in the XS as an experiment so we could use same or similar keyboards/ mice we used back then, or get replacements. The result is that it is finally great to be able to move the COD character around using the keyboard. Its about 85-90% accurate in moving via the XS, as sometimes there’s a little bit of an ‘elastic band’ effect where you move to a new position to stop and then your character sometimes automatically moves back a virtual metre or two. When it comes to ‘looking’ and ‘shooting your weapon’ then the percentage accuracy drops a little more. I am using the same Logitech corded USB Trackball mouse as I used on my PC version but via the XS the fast spinning of the trackball (necessary for quick moves like raising and aiming a weapon) is, I suppose, not interpreted by the XS so accurately, which means its almost impossible to get an aim on the opponent without stopping moving and fiddling with the trackball more to line up, meaning in most encounters I get ‘shot’ by the opponent. Similarly the ‘elastic band’ effect occurs on ‘looking’ and ‘aiming’ so I end up invariably end up staring at the ground in the moment of truth or gormlessly lingering just long enough to be ‘killed’ whilst I try to aim. My relative uses a standard corded mouse and has more accuracy but certainly not equivalent to the old PC versions. All in all though, its great to be able to use the Keyboard/ mouse to finally play COD on the PS3 so the XS has made that possible, although I am frustrated that the mouse translations are less accurate. I will continue to use it and will try a corded mouse to see if it improves. Just an additional note: pressing Control+1 before using the keyboard/mouse on the PS3 has made zero perceptible difference to either me or my relatives set-up. Nothing changes in the way the keyboard/mouse functions with or without that keypress.

Works but not the way we wanted it to
Does the job for Nintendo switch, however my son said you cannot change the keybinds on Fortnite so we returned it.

Must have on the consoles
I am using this with a PS3 and with the wireless keyboard-mouse combo MK270 and they are a fantastic companion together. I think Sony should really bundle these with their Playstation consoles by default.I have tried the Sharp Shooter Move gun controller with Killzone 3 , but the gun is a really awful piece, nothing close to what you can do with a keyboard and a mouse on PCs - and now, on consoles, too, thanks to this little gadget.Just to also highlight the bargain price. It is really easy to set it up. Almost plug an play - as, only on PS3, you need to press Ctrl+1 each time you start using it to switch on the PS3 mode. After that, it just takes a couple of hours of good practice to learn the key.If I could have a suggestion, you guys could include separate big one-pager maps/diagrams with the controller key mappings.

Not fit for purpose
Didn’t want to leave any stars at all. Does not work with gaming mouse. Found a mouse that work and the keyboard configuration is completely different so useless for gaming unless you want to learn keys all over again. Said ring a number for help but no number anywhere! Waste of money.
