Lovely color
Daniel Smith watercolors never disappoint. That is true with this color. I needed to get this color for a watercolor class I was taking and I am so glad I got it. Beautiful color. Glad I added it to my palette.

It looked exactly like blood on my finger
The carmine is such a strong color and nowhere near as pink as the swatch makes it look. It stains strongly and is hard to dilute, which works great as it's such a deep, beautiful color that will last a long time.

Deep color
I love the depth of this color. Very rich. Keep in mind this is a staining color. It does not lift like many others, but I am very pleased with this paint.
