An absolutely lovely line of cosmetics.
This was a brand I had not heard of before and was quite sceptical about, to be entirely honest. Firstly, it is very well presented and every product has a reassuring multilayer packaging that although may seem excessive, actually proves that no tampering had taken place. Then the actual vessel of this cosmetic wonder – the pipette bottle – really nice, and effective to my surprise, the whole line has quite a bit of a Japanese twist to it, with the whole oriental shenanigans thrown in the mix – the design of the bottles, the actual brand name, the ingredients, etc. really makes you go “No Way!”, when you check the price. It is well more affordable than you would expect. Now to the product itself, the serum has a fantastic texture – not oily, light, easily absorbed and gives you a good base for a moisturiser of your choice. There is no poignant smell as such, maybe some fragrant, subtle citrusy undertones that justify the name of the serum. I cannot fault the line and the product per se and can definitely recommend it!

Not for sensitive skin I guess
This burned dry patches on my face. I thought it was a one off initially so tried it a few times and it burned me in the same places each time. I have tried many other vit c serums and it has never done this before. So if you have sensitive skin, do not try

Certainly makes my skin feel noticably softer
Never heard of this company but i know niacinamide has been shown to do what it says on the box. I cant find out the concentration tho.I saw the name of a parent company on the box, Yasumi, and they are a Polish company that manufacturer the same sort of things. I couldnt find these products on the website tho and Kaisai doesnt have an online presence, in the UK anyway.I think the box looks quite high end. The dropper bottle inside with its monchrome label, less so. The serum appears to be an oil like substance. You drop a few drops out and spread them over your face. Its a 10ml bottle and like most oily substances, it spreads a long way. It has very little aroma and takes a while to sink in. Initially its tacky on your skin but it does sink in.As im a science bod i did put this stuff on half of my face and left it to sink in. After a while i asked the other half which side felt better and they chose the side with this stuff on. So it certainly makes my skin feel better to the touch!

Freckles fading
This is a great little product, which smooths uneven skin tones and fades out liver spots or heavy freckles without bleaching. Smells delightful and is great value for money. It's a spa treatment at an affordable price.

Works best with c-bright Cream
During my first few uses of this product, I had no reaction to it whatsoever. Now, this is both a positive and a negative point - positive because I didn't come out in a rash and whatnot, but negative because I also didn't notice any kind of change in my skin at all. But after a few weeks of use, I decided to stop using this product because at that point I was around half-way through the bottle, and I truly felt like it wasn't doing anything for me. I have dry skin, and I never felt like it hydrated my face as well as other products have in the past. And what slight discolouration I have to my skin, this product did nothing for it at all.But after about six weeks of no use - in which point I was using other products that were making a difference in my skin - I decided to pick this one back up again to finish it off so I could then write this review for it. And it just suddenly started burning and drying out my face. I didn't have this kind of reaction before, so this took me completely by surprise. Luckily, I had the Kaishi c-bright Cream (which is recommended to use with this serum) and immediately used that after using this product, and it cooled my face down and moisturised it again quickly. But it shocked me that my face had that kind of reaction, because again, that hadn't happened before. I decided to see if this was a one-off and use it again for the next week, but no. I had the same reaction of that burning sensation and dryness again and again.I don't know why I had that reaction during my final uses of this product, but I'm happy to be done with it now. I'm just glad I had the c-bright Cream on me as it seriously helped cool down my skin.I will say though, I liked the simplistic packaging of this product. And the bottle was small but surprisingly held a lot in it. The product itself (pre-burning) was cool and gentle on my skin, and it smoothed out evenly over my face too, to the point that I never felt like I needed to use too much product to get good coverage - only a drop on my forehead, on either cheek, and on my chin was enough. Somedays it wouldn't absorb into my face as well as it would on others, and so the product just dried a little uncomfortably on my skin. But then I'd use the c-bright Cream and it got rid of the dryness the c-bright Serum left on my face instantly.Overall, I don't know what to think of this product, but it certainly wasn't working well for me. It worked best with the c-bright Cream - but then, that could've just been the c-bright Cream being better than this serum - so if you're willing to give this product a go, definitely get that one too. But truthfully, it's a product I wouldn't recommend, so your best bet is to just stick to the cream and not bother with this serum.

I developed a reaction to it
This review is for the Kaishi - c-bright Serum - specialized serum, rejuvenating, antioxidant, vitamin C - 10 ml.I got this to test and unfortunately took an allergic reaction to one/some of the ingredients which left my skin reddened, dry and covered in little bumps. I stopped using it right away so can’t report on its ability to restore my skin to a healthy colour at all. The redness went away in a day, but the little bumps have remained and are still there over a week later. You can’t blame the product if you develop an allergy to it, but manufacturers should be made to publish the ingredients to give you a chance.

Highly recommended this essential Vitamin C serum for skin
I used to apply the juice of oranges on my face but was itchy afterwards. This Serum is formulated in a way that it doesn't make my skin itchy and it is highly recommended. I shall buy it again.

Felt nice on my skin
This is a pleasant to use vitamin C serum. It comes in a 10ml glass bottle with a dropper. I put a couple of drops on my cheeks and worked over my face with my fingers. It has a light fragrance. It soaked in well and left a little tautness which I quite like. I used a moisturiser afterwards. I've been using it a few days now and I think my skin is already looking less tired and I haven't come out in spots which can happen with some serums.
