Keep your feet occupied!
I’m an adult with ADHD. Sitting at a desk with my feet on the floor is torture, but I’m apparently too old to sit cross-legged in my desk chair for many hours a day without my hips hurting so I went looking for solutions. This thing provides lots of sensory input and ways to engage my feet so my brain can focus. I like that I can switch between the different textures on each side. By adding more air or deflating it, you can change the resistance for feet bouncing. I tend to do more see-saw action with my feet – I wanted something that would offer some resistance to push against with my feet, not just a foot rest, so this has met my needs well. Tip if using in a classroom or shared office space! The rubber is a little squeaky when bouncing/pushing against the floor. I find the sound distracting. I had an extra bath mat that I put under it and that eliminated the distracting noise. I have wood floors and expect the sound would happen on any hard surface. If you or your child are using this in a shared space, I’d recommend having a towel or carpet square available so you don’t run into complaints from others (or annoy yourself as the user).

Not helpful with kids needing movement
I tried this with several kids who have ADHD none of them found it useful and after fifteen minutes they pushed it away.

Under desk footrest for posture and fidget relief
This is the perfect footrest that I never knew I needed. The textured side with raised dots give the soles of my feet a pleasant sensation. I use it wearing socks. It is easy to fill with air, and came with its own air pump. Surface is washable. Makes sitting at a desk for long spells of computer tasks a more comfortable, ergonomic experience in conjunction with my ergonomic office chair. I prefer the shape to a wobble cushion. This helps me maintain better posture and my feet and legs are supported comfortably while typing. If you have restless feet or ADHD this might be the underdesk fidget tool of your dreams. All ages can use this.

this thing is brilliant, especially when I’m working or studying from home. But… it’s not really that quiet if that’s what you anticipated

My son uses this to help him sit at a desk and complete a task. It needs less air in than when it arrives but then it works well and provides some resistance but not too much. Mixed in with other tools this works well.

I deflated this a fair bit when it arrived. Have it under my desk and it’s perfect for when I need to bounce my leg- provides really nice rebound.
