IT FLAT OUT WORKS FOR THIS 72 YEAR OLD BABY
I am 72 years old, and 100% needle phobic. I look at them I start to get sick to my stomach.......I can get myself in a frenzee just thinking about them. I become a mess. Well, I just had a heart valve replaced and my Dr. put me on Ozempic and Repatha.......both shots I have to give myself. Well, the Ozempic is bad enough getting the courage up to inject myself, and the Repatha, when I found out the needle is twice the size of the Ozempic, well............it threw me over the edge. The pen sat in my refrigerator for two weeks without the courage to give myself another shot. Enter LMX4. After using the LMX4 I got the courage to give myself the Repatha shot tonight. I FELT NOTHING. ZERO. I heard the click of the injection pen.........and nothing else. What a relief........HOME RUN. This stuff works and could not be happier.

The best otc numbing cream
This was recommended to me years ago to use prior to laser hair removal sessions and I’ve since used it for various other procedures such as microneedling, microcurrent, high frequency, and tattooing. It’s expensive, yes, but it will numb the hell outta anywhere it’s applied and keep it numb for a good while. You need to apply at least 30 minutes prior to whatever procedure and I put just enough to cover the entire area and leave and thin layer before washing or wiping off immediately before whatever procedure. A little bit really does go a long way.I have zero pain tolerance but unfortunately I also enjoy many painful things and this works great!

Everything I needed it to be
I am having electroysis hair removal done, I had had my eyebrows done 20 years ago, and found out that the laser hair removal treatments do not work on grey hair. So for my chin hairs I developed PMP, I went back to electrolysis. My husband was so happy with the results he offered to pay for my legs to be done. Apparently my legs are far more sensitive than my face, and it was nearly unbearable. so I researched on line the best otc topical anesthetic and it said LMX 4 - 5 % strength was recommended for use for prep for electrolysis. I bought this product, and was amazed if you follow the directions, I barely felt what she was doing at all. it was amazing, and perfect. I spread some on thinly to the treatment area, after cleansing area with Bactine. Then waited 15 minutes, reapplied a more generous amount to the same area and wrapped it in plastic. The directions said wait 30 minutes before treatment, since it is a 30 minute drive to where I have it done. I removed the wrap just before going in. I showed her which area I had treated and if she went outside the numbed area I could tell A BIG difference. The product came promtly and did everything it was suppose to do. I couldn't have been happier!

Weird reaction
TL:DR - Didn’t help with injection pain, weird skin reaction for days after application.I am terrified of needles and sensitive to pain. I had to start taking weekly injections about a month ago for a health issue and found them to be very painful which didn’t help with my anxiety about the needles. This product was recommended to me to help with the pain.I tested the cream out on a small spot on my arm for about 20 mins and didn’t have a reaction. When it was time for my injection, I applied the cream and let it sit for about 60 mins before wiping with alcohol swab and injecting mediation. The initial pick of the needle seemed slightly less painful, but I still felt everything, which I hate. The next morning I noticed red dots around the area and the following day there was a lot more redness and swelling only in the area where the cream was applied (see photo).I’ve taken the injections for five weeks without any issues so my only thought is that it’s the cream or a combination of the cream and the medication. The expiration date is 10/2025 and the lot number on the cream is 231838 in case anyone else has an issue as well.

Almost completely numbed piercing pain.
Bought this to take the edge off a nipple piercing after reading a recommendation on a body modification forum. Boy, did it ever - slathered a generous amount on my nipple a couple hours before go-time, covered it with a square of plastic wrap, then hit it with a little more about 30 minutes prior. Didn't even feel the clamp being put on or the needle going in or out - just a slight pinch as it went through the interior, and it kept the pain at bay for a few hours after as well. Will definitely use again when I get the other nipple done, and may try it for a rib cage tattoo as well.A few hints/tips/tricks: this works best if you can figure out how to keep it on your skin for a prolonged period of time - hence, the idea of covering it with plastic wrap to keep it from rubbing off on bandages & clothes. Also worth noting: this isn't going to tingle/make your skin feel cold or warm/do really anything to give you an indicator that it's working - your pain sensations will just be noticeably dulled. And the longer you give it to work, the better - hitting it multiple times over a few hours with the cream before getting the piercing done eliminated almost all pain.

Amazing cream!
This cream allowed my son to be able to get his blood drawn. Before he had extreme anxiety about the blood draw. By following a protocol from the pediatrician he has successfully done it twice!

Takes Forever
I used this in two instances and it took almost 2 hours to start working. I was trying to take out a splinter on my pinky from years ago and I'm fine with operating on myself but the numbing kicked in after I had already taken out the splinter. I waited an hour before doing anything and figured that this just did not work. After I took out the splinter, washed my hands, and played a few rounds of chess, my pinky started to get numb. I was not impressed.I then used this for laser hair removal on my arms. Laser hair removal isn't too painful on the arms but I wanted to see how effective this cream could be and this was also the cream that the beautician recommended. I used it 90 minutes beforehand and I didn't feel a difference. After the treatment, it kicked in. Compared to other creams, this one is also not as strong. I would recommend planning hours in advance and only use this for minor injuries and treatments.
