Nice, easy to use wine opener
Recently our 40+ year old lever style wine opener just disintegrated - kablooey! I chose this one based on reviews and have been very pleased. It feels more sturdy than my old one (which lasted decades) and levers very smoothly. I like the foil cutter also (although I'll probably lose it soon).

Great product, terrible packaging!
Product is great! Unfortunately, it just arrived and it was just in a very thin bubble wrap type envelope! The box the opener comes in was crushed. If this purchase was for me it wouldn't matter. However, this is for my Grandson who is turning 21 years old. I bought this opener to give to him to go along with the expensive bottle of champagne that I am giving him to celebrate turning 21 years old. It's still the same gift, but it's just looks so tacky now. It looks like it was the last one that had been left on the shelf at The Dollar Store. Embarrassed to give it to him..........
