Tune Up Kits (10820 - Windy SP)

I didn't realize how out of kilter my brake was until I installed this kit. A brake gets slowly worse over time and once I installed this kit, it was a reminder of how smooth my brake once was. I'm not going to wait another 10 years to do maintenance on my brake again. It grips the metal better now and the arms lock in tighter. When doing the bend, I don't have to go back with a cloth and coax the metal back down. The best way I can describe the process is to compare it to glaucoma where it is so slow and gradual, you don't know it's a problem until you're almost blind. I'm pleased to be able to see that this maintenance kit is a game changer.

These seem to be some updated parts but they fit and worked great.

The original was missing the 2 springs and 2 screws that the description said should have been in the package. I received a replacement and it too was missing the same 2 screws and springs.I did not try a third time. The rest of the parts fit my old brake perfectly.

I loved this kit! Had an issue with removing existing parts on break. Yet ease and understanding came along in new kit with instructions. This product is useful for multiple metal breaks, makes and models. Made my break GREAT AGAIN. It's the go to kit for a metal siding break and have tested it with other break models with success.

i purchased this Tapco tune-up kit based on the written parts list and picture showing that it included roller pivot springs. i needed them just as badly as i needed the other parts. the springs ARE NOT in the package! Please ship the springs immediately or credit me for them.
