I bought these to prevent my grandson from opening doors on a visit. They were easy to install but started to break even before he came. One picture shows how they look when they are installed. the concept is good and I was optimistic when I put them up. They stick to the door just fine but they separate and leave the adhesive portion behind and fall to the floor. 1 even broke into pieces with choking size hazards on the floor. The seller was very good with communication and refunded me the total amount very quickly. That said, these do not do what they are supposed to do and even present a choking hazard so should not be used where small children are concerned. This should be off the market.

These locks were very simple and easy to install. Took less than a minute. Keeps my toddlers out of rooms I can't keep an eye on them.

What I liked?- The price, and the fact that I received four locks.- The versatility of the lock levers.- The fact that the lock levers could be further locked in position by using the two lock buttons.- The easy installation.What I didn't like?- The fact that one of the small double lock buttons had fallen off WITHIN HOURS!!- The ratcheting sound I heard as a 5 year-old was manipulating the lock mechanism which SHOULD have been securely locked.Buyer beware, please don't trust this lock, I'd hate for a child to fall down a flight of stairs or wander outside because of a lock failure.I installed this lock in about a minute, and when I tested the lever-style door handle against it, I immediately realized that I had made a mistake, there was just too much give. The give was not where the lock attached to the door, it was in the locking mechanism itself! Don't do it, skip this one and find something made of metal, this is the second style of plastic door lock that has failed prematurely.
