Not worth the slight decrease in loudness
Like many people, the harsh sound of a blow dryer is enough to drive one mad. I bought this in a effort to muffle its sound to a more reasonable level. Using a meter, I found my hair dryer to run at 98 decibels. After adding this gadget it did decrease… to 94 decibels. I don’t believe a 4 decibel drop is noticeable at all and definitely not worth the price. I guess I’ll keep waiting for a silent hair dryer to be invented.

It works but not noticably enough to care for it
It DOES work but almost barely. I returned it because it wasn't worth the $30 I put out for it.

Very disappointed.
Does not make any difference in sound level.$30.00 is too much to pay for something that does not perform as advertised. Very disappointed.

Works!
While this doesn’t make my hairdryer whisper quiet. It definitely dampens the harmful noise. I’m a hairdresser and talking with your client while blow drying can be next to impossible especially while wearing a mask. This makes it so much easier to hear my clients. Using a dryer all day it really makes a difference.

Excellent!
Excellent product! It works very well and I hadn't any problem to put that in my brazillian hair dryer. I highly recommed this product. It reduces the noise to a tolerable level. It's going to help me a lot. I'm not going to wake everybody up in the morning, when I use my hair dryer
