Replace or extend...your choice!
Item arrived on time and packaged securely....nice hose, way better price then at Sears for basically the same functionality. My original 25' hose which came with the compressor was way stiffer and somewhat of a pain to uncoil and drag around...you would think that would indicate a brute force, durable, hard to trash hose but...oh no....cause even with all it's complexities it bit the dust after a extended swipe against the hot muffler which had shed it's guard cage due to vibration....bye, bye stock hose. Don't get me wrong, I am sure any hose you get will fry on a hot muffler so why wrestle with a annoying high priced one which will fry just as fast as a more pliable, though probably thinner, cheaper model? Moral to the story is, when the muffler guard tack welds vibrate through....figure out a way to re-affix the guard and avoid the whole fiasco....or, ignore it, think you can fly without it and when the hose melts through....take comfort in knowing this here hose is a fine alternative to the Sears high priced spred! And...just so you know...what's cool about this hose is that it can replace your original "Wand to pump" standard hose....or...because it comes with an adapter...it can also be used to "extend" the length of your stock hose by 25', assuming you have a working standard hose to begin with?So...best of both worlds here....remove the adapter and you have a double ended 22mm hose, good from "wand to pump"...or leave the adapter on which will then thread into your existing 22mm standard end, instead of the wand, and then the wand will thread into the other 22mm end like it would on your standard hose....dual functionality....how cool is that? Now just imagine the damage you can do with a total of 50' of hose out from the power washer...a true 100' diameter of unmitigated punishing water pressure being wielded by you and your pulsating "Excalibur"! Mind numbing, no?

A nice hose, but do not buy it to extend the SunJoe SPX-3000 pressure washer hose
I wanted to get an extension hose for my SunJoe SPX-3000 and Sun Joe does not offer one. I discovered that the 50 ft 5/16" Apache hose causes too much of a pressure drop, and you must buy a 1/4" hose, the same diameter as the original hose, to maintain pressure. I bought the 25 ft. 1/4" Powerwasher extension hose and discovered something interesting: the SunJoe original hose does not use standard fittings. While the hose ends are the standard M22 metric connections, the center pressure nipple in the hose end is a non-standard size, as far as I can tell. Using the male to male hose connector supplied with the Powerwasher extension hose, the SunJoe pressure nipple is too large to fit inside the male to male connector. This means that you cannot screw the Powerwasher extension hose onto the original SunJoe hose to get longer reach. So if I want a longer hose, I must either buy a 50 ft 1/4" extension, or buy another Powerwasher extension hose and screw them together. This hose itself seems to be well-made. It came with the male to male hose connector already installed, and they must have used a hydraulic wrench to install it. I had to use penetrating oil and a heat gun to be able to loosen the fitting enough to remove it.

Read description/look @ picture to understand "universal"
This hose ROCKS! Especially for the price! It is being sold at other venues and places for $40. Compare it to some of the other 1/4" hoses, like the Briggs 6040 or 196006GS. It also has a tough textured rubber outer cover, not just thermoplastic that is stiff, kinks and breaks. I have read some reviews decrying the "universal" label that seem to think universal means it should have everything, including adapters and fittings to fit every conceivable combination, you might possibly need. From the description: "Designed to fit most electric and gas pressure washers up to 2,600 PSI with standard 22-millimeter connections" This is a hose with 2 identical 22 millimeter threaded ends. The M22 is the standard size for most pressure washers AND also from the description: "Provides additional 25 feet of cleaning reach" It is just a hose with the attached M22 fittings. (I have posted some pictures of how I used it-look closely at the pictures to see what those 2 identical ends are like.) This hose is really designed to be an extension hose. It could also replace an existing hose as long as your current hose uses M22 connections at both the pressure connection AND the wand. And now for a little unsolicited advice, always look through the "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" and the "Customers Who Viewed This Item Also Viewed" lines to help think about what else you might need to make something like this work for your application.

Nice Addition For Your Powerwasher
I bought this extension cable to go along with my FAIP PWS1600 powerwasher and it works perfectly. It comes with a brass "barrel" connector that attaches the extension cable to your existing cable. I can leave the powerwasher stationary and cover a lot of ground with all of the cable length I have as I intend to occassionally get up on the roof of my one story ranch and do some low pressure cleaning. It comes coiled up so you will have to "break it in" by laying it out and unravelling it, but after a few hours of work the first day it was flat and unwieldy. There may be less expensive cables out there but this one works fine. It mates perfectly with my "FAIP Powerwasher" brand, but you might need additional adapters if you have a different make of pressure washer. All in all for me this was an excellent purchase.

Great, but only used once, so-far ...
I just got two of these hoses and put them to use the same day. They worked great - but that should be expected right out of the box. They are thinner than the one that originally came with my Kaercher 2650 PSI pressure washer (and blew out after 6 years of using it maybe 4 times annually), but did the job. I'm a little leery of this smaller hose-wall size and rated it therefore 4 stars instead of 5. We'll see how the hoses hold up in the long-term.Also don't know yet about them rubbing off on a wooden deck and leaving black streaks, since I just washed my vehicles with it so-far.Great price, though - can't beat it for a 3000 PSI hose!! The least expensive I found anywhere!
