Rose Petal Preserve (sarantis) 16oz

My rose preserve got here in perfect condition! This product has a strong sweet flavor with real rose petals mixed in with the jelly, the flavor is going to be just perfect for a wedding cake and to use in sandwiches. The sugar is cane sugar mostly, and I'm not sure what the difference is between that and regular but it smells aromatic and is very fresh in its taste. Delightful product, it should have a long shelf life, the flavor is light, sweet and long-lasting. It's really original, a unique flavor, kind of like the Turkish rose candy bars but with real petals in the mix, the texture is nice and and it has a thick consistency not watery at all, which is awesome. Real petals. I'm pleased with it overall and would order again.

Y.U.M! Mine arrived today, I immediately started the toaster & opened the package. The jar is beautiful, imported from Greece, & large. It's not pink but it's NOT orange as had read. I for appreciate the lack of food coloring. After making fresh rosewater, its never pink/red (heat fade) The preservers are clear, delicate rose petals are seen throughout. This is a DELICIOUS treat! I enjoyed it so much I immediately got online and sent it as a gift to someone before I finished my toast. Only fault, it is quite sweet for my taste. I'm going to make some unflavored preserves & add it to cut the sweetness. This is something I will continue to keep in my pantry and gift. It's definitely worth the price. Buy it!

I love rose jelly. They can be very pricey. I really liked this one, but wish it wasn't so sweet. It's better when not overly sweet. I am glad I bought it but I don't think I will again due to the sweetness - but for others it may be the perfect sweetness. I use it on tea time cream scones and it is perfect. GREAT for a rose-themed tea party!!! Or hostess gift for the person who has everything!

Of the last 3 I've bought, one was leaking, one was broken (& thrown away) & one was... very good. - If they could figure out the packaging, would be a good buy.

So disappointed I had expected a better quality/natural product. Unfortunately there wasn't an ingredients list and I bought with high hopes. Sadly this product is just not good quality. Ingredients as per the jar: Rose petals, sugar, corn syrup, citric acid, color: carmine, artificially flavored, potassium sorbate (to maintain freshness).

The product itself is 5 stars - delicious, and as expected. However, the packaging was insufficient for keeping the jar from getting banged up - the lid was dented and jam had leaked out into the plastic packaging. Would have been 5 stars if it had arrived intact.

This is the very first time I've ever heard of this type of product, so maybe it is supposed to taste of roses. If that is the case, this definitely fits the bill! I was not expecting the rose taste to be so strong, but it's still very edible to me (and I can definitely be a very picky eater). This far I've only eaten it raw, but you can use it to top many items and I plan to try that soon. I'm hopeful it will help with my fibromyalgia but I can't say either way yet.
