Bostitch InPower Spring-Powered Desktop Stapler, One-Finger*TM* Technology

Bostitch bought out PaperPro and began putting out their version of the original PaperPro staplers but with not as good build quality. The originals were made of durable metal and rubber grip and felt POWERFUL - because they were. I could staple into some insanely hard surfaces with my old PaperPro. Sadly that stapler belonged to my old place of work and I could not take it with me. I needed to furnish my own stapler at my new job so I of course went looking for a PaperPro - which is when I learned the story of what became of them. Saving money was a big issue at the time so I didn't go buy an original PaperPro off eBay or anything and just bought this stapler here from Amazon. So why am I giving this stapler the full 5 stars? Because it's still WAY better than any regular stapler around. Other people at work needing a stapler who are in the know come ask to use MY stapler over all others. It really works that well. The funny thing is it is mostly being used to staple things into walls, including into plywood. This is where it's noticeably weaker than the old PaperPro - particularly because this stapler is mostly light plastic and doesn't have the same weight behind the staple. The reason it still works BETTER than regular staplers is because of where the force is coming from. Most standard desktop staplers have the force coming from you pressing directly down on the stapler. This stapler, in contrast, has some sort of spring setup inside that, with very little pressure, staples. So if you're stapling into a wooden surface (as I've oddly had to do a LOT at both jobs - and yes, with thin, easier-to-remove staples rather than big, industrial staples) you only have to make sure the stapler stays flush on the wall and the spring lever does the work for you. TL;DR - is incredibly smooth and powerful; will easily staple into wood.

I really love this stapler. Compared to my last one this Bostitch one is a dream. Very smooth stapling. It has a holder on the bottom for storing extra staples. The storage part was filled with staples when I opened it. When stapling the sound it makes sounds like an official legit stapler. Plus it’s pink, so it’s cute. Would recommend. For the seemingly great quality I think the price was very reasonable.

Love this stapler! I staple lots of little books for my kindergarten students and this makes it a breeze. Simple touch to staple and it staples through a lot of sheets.

This is the best stapler! Everyone in my office complains about their stapler, so I let them try mine. They love it! I ended up buying more for a few of them.

Hi used to have a paper pro stapler and I lost it and went to purchase another one and saw this thought that it was a great find loved the color that it came in and then for whatever the reason I decided to look at the reviews after and I saw a lot of bad reviews stating that the product was not only very loud but also didn't work I gave the stapler try I did notice that it was a little bit on the loud side but nothing that I wasn't willing to deal with. However when I loaded the stapler with staples I noticed like the reviews were saying the stapler just wasn't working I've tried it about 30 times and it only launched out 4 Staples.. [I posted a picture with this review and you can see how many times I tried to get a staple out and was unsuccessful. I tried so many times that it went through the paper], now this is with me taking the thing of staples out and putting it back in at least three times just to see if stuff needed to be Jimmied loose or whatever and I still have the problem. So I ended up returning it and just going with a basic swingline stapler. I used to be a teacher I now do office work I am very familiar with how to use a stapler and I have used literally hundreds of different types of staplers and I have never had those type of issues with a brand new out of the box stapler also something to know is that the reason I got this stapler is because I used to have a paper pro stapler.. Bostitch purchased paper pro in 2020 and so now they are putting out inferior products now that they have taken it over there are even other staplers on Amazon that claim to be paperpro but when customers receive them they're actually Bostitch. So BEWARE.

Staples papers & bulletin boards with ease. Plus, it has a staple remover on the back! Love the extra staples compartment underneath & that it came with staples. Will purchase again for friends.

Stapler is great. size is not too big or small. i like that it can hold one stick of staple cartridge. the only flaw i have is first the sound when i staple. its really really loud. i work with people by me that has complained that its the loudest stapler ever. and it really is. you can open it for tacking which i show in the video but just up against softer material like a cork board, the paper i showed in video, but probably not wood. i tried to tack something to my desk but it wouldnt go through.
