Whittaker's Dark Salted Caramel, 250g Block, Made In New Zealand, 62% Cocoa

I orderd this chocolate for a christmas gift and it arrived with the out wrapper torn and looking like it rolled around in someones purse for weeks. It was very beat up and had a teat i the wrapper so the choclate showed~hard to give such a destressed package as a gift. Very disappointed!!

The chocolate is delicious. The whole bar was broken and the foil was split open from shipping process. Completely demolished, caramel was everywhere. The box had air packs in it but only cushioned one side of the bar. Buy direct from Whittaker’s, don’t waste your money here.

This product came with what I thought was missing chocolate. The wrapper was not opened, it is winter and it was in the same box as 3 other chocolate bars (which appear to be fine) so I know it hadn't melt. Once I opened the bar after taking photo's of how it arrived I realized it had infact melted at some point of its existence because the rows were compressed and the chocolate had turned like old chocolate does. I was really looking forward to trying this but I have no idea how old this bar actually is.

The photo should say it all. This was not damaged in Amazon transit in my opinion, it was damaged in storage or transport from New Zealand. That said it was still inedible. I bought a different bar of Whittaker's Chocolate and it was fine. Second bar of Whittaker's Salted Caramel was crushed, Not great.

This item arrives quickly within a couple days of ordering but looked like it had been melted and frozen and possibly really old but did not have an expiry date on it! Apparently there are no returns so I’m stuck with two horrible chocolate bars.

Like previous reviews: bar arrived in terrible condition, by the looks of it very old and seems to have melted as well. Buyer be aware! Want my money back but not eligible for refund.

Old, melted chocolate. It had a disgusting smell of old chocolate. Do not buy this product. I should have read the reviews first.
