Just what I was looking for...
This is a great solution for my BMW R1200GS with the factory GPS mount. You pop off the OEM cover plate and pop this right on. It comes with an extra bracket that I didn't need -- I'm guessing if you want to take the Navigator mount completely off and install this (?). Either way I just plugged it in place of the GPS unit and that was all I needed to do. It fits right in, albeit not super easy. I had to apply some pressure to get the bottom in the groove then the top to snap in, but it locked in just fine. The biggest con for me would be that it is a little bulky -- Imagine the BMW Navigator in there but a little thicker, THEN mounting your phone on top of THAT. So yeah...IMO this can be slimmed down quite a bit. I don't have the LCD display on my GS, and if I angle this too low it blocks the view of top of the RPM gauge. I'm not sure how it would be with the new LCD displays, but I imagine better. The solution is to rotate the OEM navigator bracket little further up. I was definitely able to find a sweet spot where I could see both my phone and the full gauge cluster without having the mount facing a ridiculous high angle. With that said, it does exactly what I wanted: It holds my phone where the stock GPS would be and has two working USB ports in case I also want to charge my phone -- and I can do so without needing to plug in to the Aux plug. The cost is approximately the same as a Ram mount setup give or take, and while I have a Ram mount and have used it in the past, I honestly prefer this on my R1200GS as it keeps the bike looking cleaner and has my phone's navigation in perfect view. I have seen a few other similar mounts on Amazon that were more than double the cost, and I knew when I purchased this I was rolling the dice. Thankfully, this was a win. I don't see a need to pay more as the other products I saw looked almost exactly the same. If you have a GS and are looking for a similar solution, this product is worth a shot.

BMW 1200 GS
This product fit perfectly on my 2018 BMW 1200 GS. Snapped right into the factory Garmin GPS holder. The electrical connections in the back transferred power to the USB outlets. Included a short USB power cord for my iPhone (also has a fitting for micro USB). Works great. Inexpensive. Much more secure than my Ram mount handlebar phone mount, which I took off since I did not need it anymore.

Good product, don't have high expectations for it
Overall nice solution for those who don't want or have the expensive Garmin BMW sells. l, probably like most, use my phone for navigation. I don't mind it being used for this on an ADV bike. First issue with this is the mounting plates. They do not fit if you want to use the existing BMW GPS prep. The orientation is off. They mount up vertical not horizontal. I used the existing GPS prep back bracket to mount it up. But that leaves a large gap between it and the phone mount. I will have to rig something up to fill the gap. However, it is secure enough for asphalt rides. Don't think the jarring of road will allow it to stay in place the way i have it now. Other issue is the rubber pull down tab on the spring loaded security bar, it is splitting from the force being applied to pull it down. A few more pulls and it's gonna rip right off. Since I wanted to use the existing BMW hardware and electronics, the mounting solution, I felt, should be provided with the product. Great overall solution though. Something everyone should get off not using a dedicated GPS navigation. Oh and it feeds up space of you don't. This product is something BMW motorrad should have come up with and charge 3x as much. I would buy that! I think this is worth trying out. Well see how it holds up and I will update.

Fits BMS F750GS and F850GS
Item arrived yesterday. Installed on bike and works perfectly. Installed my iPhone 8, with case and was snug but fits and appears to hold the phone very well. The short cable supplied, about 6" in length with an adapter for the iPhone lightning port would not stay plugged into the phone. I'm reordering a 4" cable from Amazon Basic. Since there is no adapter, I believe this one will stay plugged in properly.

Great Phone Mount
This fit perfectly into the existing BMW GPS mount on my 2020 R1250 GSA. It holds my iPhone XR in a Pelican case nice and tight. I don't have concerns my phone is going to jump off the bike. The USB power has been working fine. I'm super happy with this!!! I had an official BMW GPS unit in there that went on the fritz, was clunky, and kept trying to send me into the ocean. Would like to see one of these for an iPad mini for longer trips.

Good for about 6 months then it all comes apart.
Unfortunately after 6 months of use this unit has totally come apart and left me extremely unsatisfied. The bad - hardware isn’t stainless so everything rusts. Even the spring mechanism to keep your phone in place. The USB ports are completely useless as the plugs themselves have both broken. I assume they cannot handle the road vibrations. The main reason for this purchase was the ability to hold your phone and charge at the same time so now that’s not even possible. The good - it will def hold your phone in place. I only had once instance where it threw my phone out and cracked it. - I would be upset if i used that phone for anything other than navigation but given the fact that I was off road and on a washboard road I won’t complain about that. I really wanted to like this product and have taken it on multiple 400+ mile trips but I can’t hide the fact that after 6 months of use it’s now just a phone holder. I can just use my ram mount for that.

Works with a Pixel 5 but not with an iPhone 13 Pro
Easy to install and seems to hold the phone tight. But it is useless with an iPhone 13 Max as the spring loaded slider presses against the volume button. I'm a bit shocked about the lack of iPhone compatibility. Would love to see a better design that works with Apple.
