Perfect Ceramic Vegetable Cleaver
This is an excellent ceramic knife and an absolute steal at this price. The entire blade is constructed of some form of white ceramic and the handle is a surprisingly light but durable material with a very comfortable and ergonomic design. I purchased and use this knife exclusively for mincing/chopping vegetables almost daily. This style of Chinese chef's knife was originally intended for that function.Out of the box this knife has a mean blade, easily as sharp (maybe even a little sharper) than my much more expensive carbon steel European chef's knife whose maintenance I've turned into a hobby all it's own (water-stone sharpened and diamond honed, keep it well oiled, etc) but I digress.Keep in mind that a stone blade cannot be re-sharpened so it' important not to dull it by cutting on a surface of equal/greater hardness. Use a soft wooden bamboo or plastic/vinyl cutting board when chopping with this knife. Only hand wash to avoid having it bang around in the dishwasher. After a month of regular use the blade is still as sharp as it was on day one. I did however, have a small moment of empty-headedness/butterfingers when I dropped the knife from about 4.5 feet in the air whilst cleaning. To the knife's credit and my surprise it did not explode into a million shards and the blade is still a razor. The corners chipped a little but it's still totally useable. Not to mention should I ever truly ruin it I'd readily buy another 2 at this price.tldr: if you're looking for an unbeatable bargain on a ceramic chef's knife and really want something with a full-ceramic blade than I would not hesitate to pick up this one here.

Sharp!
Ceramic knives are sharp! This knife make me want to find things to cut up in the kitchen!Use of any ceramic knife may need you to cut and slice with a different motion of the blade than when using metal knives.People hear how the material it is made from is almost as hard as diamond. But don't realize that is more for Sharpness! If it were made of glass you would not cut it on a hard surface or try to pry with it (like as stated in the directions).Ceramic knives are not metal. You must not treat them like metal knives.I'm enjoying them. Hope you do also if you get one.

Practice
After a short time, I got used to this and now it's my go-to knife. Must be careful chopping as it's very sharp. I wish it were still available because I'd like to get a couple for gifts...

Very Sharp
It is too sharp and easy to get bleeding if not being careful.

This works just like any metal cleaver you would buy normally
This works just like any metal cleaver you would buy normally. Haven't had to sharpen it yet but I am sure it will be a while since the quality is so good.

Five Stars
Love the ceramic cleaver; however, you would have to follow "ceramic" restrictions, but still great!
