I really only needed the case but bought these ones with electronics and batteries in them just in case needed. I put the circuit board from my old key fobs in these and there worked great.

Used for a 2008 Chevy Malibu. The key fobs had no worked in years (and should have done this much sooner but didn't). Used the recommendation of reviewers to just take the old circuit board and put it in the new FOB case, and bingo, the remote works! One of my original FOBs is broken, so I may use the new circuit boards and have a locksmith update them. But for the short term, we are using the original circuit board in the new FOB case and it's like brand new. The cases are very well made and solid construction. The cost was great. I did notice on the website/search for locksmiths, the first few in my area were no longer in business, so that might need updating.

Locksmith could not get these to program to my 2006 Grand Prix but it may be due to the OE stereo being replaced with an aftermarket stereo.

They work great , with a scanner very easy to program to a 2010 Malibu, they fit the need was missing on fob and the other one stopped working correctly, these are a great replacement for the OEM ones that started to not work

Pontiac G6 2009. My original key fobs broken 3 years after purchasing my car. I went to Auto Zone and bought a program yourself replacement. It didn't have the remote start and didn't pair well with my car so I dealt with using the key to open my car. With current car prices, I decided for my last annual car maintenance to repair some minor issues and get new key fobs. I went back to Auto Zone and they had a different self program key fob that came with Remote start. Paired easily, works great; costed about $60. I looked into that brand for just an extra key fob. They didn't really have one without the programming box, I didn't want to pay $60 again for another fob with another programmer. Looked on Amazon and took a chance. These fobs worked with the programming kit I just recently purchased. Saved $40, didn't need a locksmith and couldn't be happier.

These arrived on time and in perfect condition. They had the computer board inside but it would not work with my car. I could not program it, the dealer would have to do it. I took the board out of my damaged remote (cracked case and ripped rubber cover) and installed it in the new case. It works like new now. Even though the new board didn't work with my car, it was money well spent for a fully functioning remote. I would have given it 5 stars if I would have been able to program it to my car myself.

Wonderful key fobs! I had no problem having an auto locksmith program these to my car. It cost $25 and took about 5 minutes to have both fobs working with my 2006 pontiac g6. My car is equipped with remote start and I've had no problems using these fobs to turn it on. Very impressed and great value. Although I couldn't figure out how to program it myself, I've heard you can.

Both remotes tested good on a keyless entry tester but would not program to the vehicle. Triple checked the serial numbers and even borrowed a friends fob with the identical vehicle (friends fob programmed right away and bought from the same supplier).
