These knives are absolutely great! Very (very) sharp and an excellent value.These are my first ceramic knives. The balance is excellent even through the knives are lighter than traditional steel. The only minor adjustment is the blades are somewhat more thick than a metal knife, so slicing feels different - not more effort, just different. Highly recommended.

Very, very sharp knife. Comes with plastic sheath. Point is very sharp, unlike some other ceramic knives. Knives and sheaths are completely non-magnetic. I confirmed this. As with all ceramic knives, they can be brittle and can chip easily on hard surfaces. But, at $16, for the entire set, I consider them disposable.

My acid test is to use a knife to cut very ripe tomatoes. I tested all three knives and each one made precision cuts with not effort. I cannot address the durability of these knives, only time will tell as to how they will last. The delivery was quick and went without a hitch. So far I would recommend these knives to my friends.

the knives are beautiful sharp light. they are pretty small so if you are used to cutting with nice big knives you will have to change your cutting style. the grip feels wonderful the case looks and feels well made. the custom sheaths make the blades look nice in the case and it gives a wonderful feeling when you slide the blades out. worth the price and a wonderful gift to give an cook who loves cooking.
