It fits the Nikon D5500, but its a bit off!
I had to replace my batter door once it broke off my dslr. This product does fit, but it gets hard to open and close. You have to slightly pry off the door mechanism with a finger nail with a bit more force than the regular one, but nonetheless its does its job! I recommend it if you need a quick fix or they dont sell yours anymore. I give it an 8/10!

Well. It works.
It fits on my Nikon. And it holds the battery in place. But it does fall out when I change out the battery. So there’s that. It looks like a perfect fit. But it dang sure falls out if not installed with a battery.
