A nice demonstration of an underrated vocalist
Marilyn left us with a surprisingly good song portfolio, one that would have gained more honor if her looks and sex appeal had not dominated her era. This album provides solid examples. With most taken from film soundtracks, it's too bad the tunes could not have been remastered, but that's the one drawback to this collection.

Such a gorgeous woman, and quite a good singing voice too!
Marilyn Monroe had lots of talent besides exquisite beauty, and one of those talents was a lovely voice. She knew how to sing ballads and could also swing a lively up tempo tune. She also had a great sense of humor and knew how to have a good time and share one with you.That is what she does here with this collection of gems. She rocks through "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend".Enjoy!

Great collection of songs
This arrived quickly at my door and was in mint condition. I am pleased with the purchase. It is a great collection of the songs that Marilyn sang in her movies.

Great Gift for Dad!!
Bought this as a gift for my dad who loves Marilyn Monroe... He LOVED it!!! Great bonus at the end of the cd is a news report or something.. it was neat to hear !

Wonderful music and songs from a great lady
I love Marilyn Monroe she was grossly underrated as a singer and I think had she lived she would have really shown herself to be a very talented lady and for many years. As it is we have the films and we have some songs to remember her. All you would expect are on here along with a few you have probably never heard of. They show off her talent very well. I actually wanted a different recording to this one, this one is listenable in quality but there have been better recordings made. I'll keep looking.

Brilliant selection of tracks
Brilliant selection of tracks, includes the wonderful Specialisation. Sound quality is generally good with no extraneous hiss but does betray a hint of processing.
