Remove back sticker to reveal screw
The remote was easy to program and I haven’t had issues with it yet after a couple months of use. My complaint is that it was not made clear that the fob is held together by a screw in the back. I broke one of the plastic casings thinking it would pop open so only one of them can be used. I wish it would have come with instructions or a better description. I was able to change out my old key instead of having another one cut. Nonetheless, I do like that it is secured with a screw as I have had other replacement key fobs fall apart after being dropped.

Fits Chevy Cruze 2011, Much cheaper than dealership, Easy programming if you have an original key and want spares
I have a 2011 Chevy Cruze, and my original Remote KeyFobs were starting to fall apart...the buttons were all punched out and one day the key stopped working. Luckily, my wife's key was still in much better condition, but I didn't want to take any chances of hers getting lost or broken, so it was time to replace my key and get a spare. Now I called the Chevy Dealership to get an idea of what it would cost to buy two new keys, have them cut, and have them programmed, and the total price was probably going to be around $200. They wanted $50 just for programming 2 keys! Before I knew about this product I told myself that maybe it was a complicated process or maybe they used a special machine, but that is not the case at all. Programming these keys for the Chevy Cruze was as easy as starting the car with an original (already programmed key) and then starting the car with the new key (one to be programmed) within 10 seconds of turning the car off and taking the original key out. I did this process with both of the new keys and I have been using them now for about 2 months with no issues yet. Both keys work great. If you don't have the original key, well then you might be out of luck and have to pay the dealership fee for them to do the initial programming, but at least you'll know for the future! The only hint of a problem I could see is that one day my car gave me a message saying the the key battery was low; however, this was only one time and since then it hasn't been repeated and the key still works. If the battery dies I would downgrade this to 4 stars, as long as i can figure out how to replace it, because new keyfobs shouldn't come with dead batteries. The dealership charged me $10 dollars to cut each key, so all in all, instead of spending $200 I spent about $45.In conclusion, these New Programmable Keyfobs are a fantastic deal for anyone who needs a replacement or extra set of keys.

Work like a charm and in three steps if you have the original and making some extra
Love that I was able to do this myself and not pay the dealer some riduclously hefty amount like $600, or $400 or even a $100.Step #1: So buy these. Make sure Make Model, Year and all match.Step #2: Take them to a reputable Lock and Key place who have that laser cutter - I found American Lock and Key in Las Vegas (Rainbow Blvd)Step #3: Turn the car on with the ORIGINAL KEY. Turn it off. Stick the newly cut key in, turn it on, then turn it off. Car starts ,and stops, also the key buttons are programmed to the car.Hurrraaaaaah!

Electronics Don't Match the OEM's Quality
Like buying a Rolex off a Manhattan street vendor, great knock off as far as feel, weight, and mechanical qualities are concerned. However, just as I had gambled after reading other posts, the circuitry that permits the car to start eventually failed. Curiously, the door lock buttons continued to operate perfectly.I only had one cut key blade, having lost one of the original remotes, so I opened the shell of the failing remote and replaced the circuit board with the one from the original remote. Still having the second new remote with an uncut blade, I broke down and went to ACE Hardware where they cut it for $75. Still a high cost, but around half of what the dealer and locksmiths charge. I've programmed the second one and now we're back to "normal" but know that eventually this other remote will fail. So, I'm going to get two more as backups. By the time we make it through all of them, I calculate that we'll be looking for another car. Should be 4 to 6 years.

Good value, quick and easy for my 2011 Camaro
Great value compared to going to the dealer. I own a 2011 Camaro and this worked great. One of my keys wore out and punched through, one had water damage and didn't lock and unlock the doors anymore. I removed the blades from my original keys by opening the switchblade half way and punching out the pin with a small screwdriver, then swapping the blank ones out with the original blades. Reprogramming took 10 seconds per the instructions. Super easy and quick! The form and function of these keys are identical to my Camaro keys. However, my only minor gripe I have is that the button icons are slightly different from my originals and this doesn't have the Chevy logo in the back. I knew the Chevy logo wouldn't be there based on the product image, but the icons were slightly different from the product picture. The new fobs were also flat on the back (which I preferred) instead of a recessed circle like in the picture.Overall great product, easy reprogramming, great price!

FAST AND EASY. PERFECT PRODUCT
Come on people. You DONT need to get the key cut. Simply tap out the tiny pin that holds the key section, pull it out with a pair of plyers. Do the same to the new remote and re-install the old stem into the new remote. This is an easy 15 minute job.

Perfect for my 2015 Buick Regal
MUCH cheaper then getting from the dealership!!! Got it cut for $40 and quickly programmed it in seconds. Thank you!!! So a programmed key with remote with cutting cost less then $70. That's less then 1/2 of what I would pay at a dealership. Thanks again, this is the second time I have purchased these as the other one I dropped a few times and eventually the key broke away from the remote but it still worked.

It's the same quality. same as original . Just open your original key, fob and then transfer the key and circuit board to the new key fob. 🔑
