A decent album but an even more impressive physical release
EXO's 6th full-length album sees the group return as a six-member unit. While I do like it, I'll be the first to admit that it's not their strongest release (that award still goes to their The War album), nor is it quite as solid as their last outing, Love Shot. However it is still solid and worth getting purely for how much you get in the physical release. It's heavy, takes up a fair bit of space on the shelf and the design itself is simplistic and clean but looks really nice. There are two versions available, the EXO and X-EXO versions, of which I bought the latter. Inside you get not one but six photobooks, one for each member. You also get the lyric book, a random member poster (I got Baekhyun!), and a bunch of random photocards (I got Suho and two of Kai!). There's a lot packed in here, and I'm glad of it because this is certainly one of EXO's most striking concepts so it's nice for it to be shown off so much. On the disc itself you'll find ten tracks:1) Obsession - Love Shot was always going to be a hard act to follow, but Obsession lives up to it and does the job nicely. It's not just the title track, but one of the best tracks on the album as a whole. With an eclectic, electronic sound it's one of EXO's most interesting songs and every member gets their chance to shine on it.2) Trouble - The song that perhaps best encompasses most of what the album has to offer. Most of the time it has an easy-going R&B-ish kind of sound with soothing vocals before going harder on the chorus.3) Jekyll - Like Trouble, there's quite a different sound between the choruses and the rest of the song itself, which is quite appropriate when the song's called Jekyll. The song is really nice on the ear for the most part and the choruses are generally heavier, and honestly feel quite strange - I like it.4) Groove - A song where you just put your earphones in, sit back and let it sweep you away. Not to sound too pretentious but it's one of those songs where you feel like you're just floating. It brings out EXO's higher vocal range for the most part, and that flute solo near the end is perfect. Joint with Obsession as my favourite song on here.5) Ya Ya Ya - Maybe the most unusual song I've heard from EXO and it sticks out thanks to its sampling of 1996's You're The One by SWV. I'm not entirely decided as to whether I like this one or not. It sounds vaguely similar to their previous track, Call Me Baby, at least to me, but besides that I'm pretty undecided.6) Baby You Are - A reliable track with a nice blend of a pop and acoustic sound. Not a lot else to say about it, but it's again enjoyable and brings out EXO's higher vocals.7) Non Stop - Like the previous track, there's not too much to say about Non Stop but it's a reliable, addictive crowd pleaser and it will undoubtedly sound great live and in concert.8) Day After Day - Slows things down after the last few tracks, and it's just hit me while I'm writing this that despite a cool, edgy concept for the album, so many of the songs on here are just sweet, soft songs. EXO are sweethearts though, so a song like Day After Day is fitting as the album starts to wind down.9) Butterfly Effect - Just slightly behind Obsession and Groove as one of my favourite songs on here. Butterfly Effect is the musical equivalent of honey - it flows effortlessly and is a joy to listen to. It's another soft song but with great rhythm and vocal work too.10) Obsession (Chinese Version) - See 1.When talking purely about the songs themselves, I can't call the Obsession album as a whole the best thing that EXO has put out. Reliable is the best word to describe it: it's a solid album, enjoyable and definitely worth listening to and the title track represents the peak of its creativity. It still gets five stars though for just how good the physical album is, with so much content and a must-buy for EXO fans.

Amazing.
Was very quick delivery taking only 11 days.. love the album only problem is with the see through square photo card. Which keeps opening (the glue is bad). But this is a known issue with the cards. Not the seller.

Nice Product!
Posters will naturally have crease lines but other than that it comes with an assortment of nice goodies that my girlfriend loved! I think the posters that come with each box are randomised but she got lucky with two group posters(I got her one of each version) so just keep that in mind as I did not know that before ordering!
