Brutal stuff that works
I got sick of the squirrels jumping on my flat bird feeder I put out for bigger birds when there are already two other feeders on the deck railing for them. I bought this to try, and it worked. No more squirrels getting on the flat feeder, so problem solved! I recommend putting this on the seed in a container outside due to the strong smell, as well as wearing thick gloves.

Works great
Deters rodents. Just be sure to wear latex gloves while using. It’s potent!

Elbow length gloves
I will start with letting you know I haven’t opened the bottle yet. I got the package and was reading the directions on the bottle, everything is pretty straight forward. I went to make a cup of coffee and use the restroom. About 2 minutes later I felt the hand of satan reach up from below and grab me by the genitals. This stuff works so good you only have to touch the outside of a sealed bottle to summon the burning flames of hell. It’s been an hour, 2 showers and a gallon of aloe gel and I think the tears are done and my friend is beginning to get his color back. 4 stars because wow it’s hot, but I thought the apocalypse had begun. I will review the aloe gel on that page.

No More Mister Nice Guy, Squirrels!
This product works. Squirrels were raiding my bird feeders, completely emptying them out within a day. Sometimes most of the seed was spilled on the ground. Sometimes they managed to actually break the feeders. This product keeps the little outlaws away, helping the wild birds (who can't taste the hot flavor) and also helping my pocket book. Just don't breathe the fumes as you mix it in the bird seed. This stuff is HOT.

Great to prevent squirrels from eating your bird food
Most squirrels 🐿️ those cute little rat “wanna-bes” do eat my chirpie food that is meant for just that, my chirpies. This product used properly does prevent most squirrels from eating chirpie food.

The Birds Did NOT like this
I was told that the birds would eat this, and squirrels would not. The birds did NOT like this at all. A few tried it, and spit the seed back out. Total waste of money and seed.

It burns your eyes if not careful but
Either I have squirrels who love hot sauce or this stuff doesn’t really work. I used it and then used more the next few times. The squirrels don’t care. I’ve even had a raccoon camp out and eat the seed which was covered in this stuff

This stuff is great!
Many years ago I set up a bird feeder for a school project. My father and I have been feeding birds ever since. It seems like in the past few years the squirrel population has exploded. I found myself filling the feeders every day or 2. I'd had enough.I decided that once I ran out of seed I'd give the feeders away and forget it. I rarely saw birds and it was costing me a fortune. Then I came across this stuff. I figured for $10 a bottle (at the time) I had nothing to lose.So I mixed up the last of my seed with some Cole's and put it out. I watched as my 35 year hobby was at stake.Within minutes the squirrels attacked the feeders, diving in to the fresh food. But this time was different. After a few bites they stopped eating and frozen for a few seconds. Then they began squawking and running back and forth along the fence!I bought more seed and treated it again. No more squirrels. After a few weeks I stopped treating the seed because I rarely saw squirrels at all. And now, if I do see some, I just begin treatment again.Last year my father was telling me how he was going to stop feeding the birds because he was sick of the squirrels. He would use actual pepper seeds, which work great but are tremendously expensive. I gave him the bottle of Cole's and told him to give it a shot.A few days later he called laughing. All the squirrels left except one who seemed to like the spicy treat! Now he puts a little bowl of spicy seed out for the one squirrel to keep him off the feeders. If you're on the fence about this stuff, give it a try. Dump your seed in a bucket, pour in some Cole's, mix it up and put it in your feeders. How much oil to mix with how much seed it right on the label. It's very easy to do (wear latex gloves). I love this stuff. I think you will too.
