Worked perfectly
I had a need to grind down and smooth out a decent amount of concrete and was not looking forward to the dust cloud and time I expected it would take with a multi-tool or regular diamond blades. I ran across this combo at a far lower cost than the options from other places and gave it a try. It worked well! The pieces fit my Hitachi 4.5" angle grinder, the blade ground through the concrete at a decent rate but not too fast, and being able to connect it to my vacuum made it a much less messy activity. A respirator/mask is still needed, but I saw how well the dust shroud was working when the vacuum hose disconnected at one point. It still threw larger debris around and I had to clean up, but at least I could see what I was doing as the fine dust was sucked into the vac.Which leads me to the only negative... The "adapter" did not accommodate my 12 gallon vac, so I had to build up a combination using an adapter I had already combined with several strategic layers of duct tape. Plan to spend some time figuring out how to connect the shroud to your grinder and get a solid hose connection.

Seems good but make sure it fits
It fit my Mikita polisher but I had to purchase a nut separate as it was not a threaded grinder wheel.

Great Buy, worked better than expected
This fit both a B&D and a DeWalt grinder I have. Used it many hours and it held up to use and literally captured 98%+ of cement / paint dust. Vacuum hose adapter 1.25" to 2.25" can be found in most hardware stores. Very pleased. Used it with ALOK diamond 4.5" cement grinding wheel. Every 20-30min clean your vacuum filter and you will see very little dust. Highly recommend and would buy again.

Works great the first time.
It works right off the bat; however, it didn't fit my Makita 4.5 inch Grinder perfectly. At the time, my model was listed on the description page, but now it seems they changed the description. It makes sense; I used the clamping washer/ring, but can only get it seated about 3/32th of an inch to 1/8th of an inch. With that said, after tighten the worm/hose clamp and trying to get it leveled with grinding wheel, and adjusting some more, add a few tape here and there, it worked perfectly. I would say my favorite factor is the amount of dust it removes from the air. With the proper vacuum attachment, I can trust that the amount of dust removed is going into my shop vac. In terms of dust collecting I would give a 5 Star rating. Now why I gave it three stars. It worked absolutely great the first time, but when I had to install it the second time, the clamp broke and the springs(used to push the brush down) in the dust shroud were stuck. I had to spend a good amount of time, cleaning, lubing, and removing the brushes from the Dust shroud and resetting the springs in it. They do provide you with two extra clamps, but seeing that my Makita grinder doesn't fit as snug in first place cause the second clamp to break. There is a potential chance I had over tighten the clamp , but getting it seated, without it moving, with only ~3/32" - 1/8" mating space is rather tough. This time I had to just leave the dust shroud attach to the grinder in the remainder of my renovation. If The description at the time did not list my grinder model, then this review would be different because I felt I had to use tape and spend more time getting it to sit better. So far I used it for about 2500 sqft over the course of a month now and it is holding up. Sometimes the flush grinding door will randomly open while grinding and that can be annoying. Will update once I finish another 1500 sqft of grinding.

Game changer
Wow. I've used this same Skil brand grinder with the same Dewalt diamond concrete grinding wheel WITHOUT a dust collector before and it was a mess. I had to wear a respirator and clean the entire garage after. This job however was inside the house and dust was not as acceptable so I opted to try a duct collection system. It attached to the Skil 4.5" grinder easily without any adapters required. The cup wheel height was perfect with the backing plate removed. A slight push down on the dust collector brushes to allow the cup to touch the work surface. The shop vac connection did require use of the adapter and it needed to be taped on or held to not fall out easily but wasn't too burdensome for the effectiveness of the dust collection. The shop vac filter did clog within 10 minutes of grinding but it was still keeping the air clean and by then the job was done.Dust collection. Had to be like 99%! It was amazing. I had dusted out the entire house a couple days before from 10 seconds of grinding without out. Now I ground for 10 minutes and you wouldn't even know! It also helped to keep the cup wheel flat on the floor that I was leveling.Five stars. Would recommend.

Not suitable for intended purpose
During unboxing product appeared well designed. The general instructions are pictogram without any words. The suppliedangled wrench did not match the hole spacing on the retainer nut. I attempted to secure the diamond grinding disk with the one that came with my angle grinder. I was unsuccessful, the disk could not be properly secured. I am returning the shroud and blade, buying one that screws on to the U.S. standard 5/8 11 arbor.
