Accurate and easy to use thermometer.
This thermometer was highly rated in Consumer Reports, and we were able to find it on Amazon for a good price.It is easy to use and read and appears very accurate (especially in ear mode). The screen changes color when you run a temperature. I would highly recommend it.

Simple to use
Love this thermometer! Very simple to use. Have used for 2 years and ordering another one for adult grandson.

Good to use, but there is no disposable probe cover
Good to use, can get the temperature directly, one advantage is that it can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. But shortcoming is that there is no disposable probe covers for it so I have to clean it every time.

nice one, doesn't feel chip
This is my first non-contact thermometer so I was a little confused on how to use it. So press the button once to turn it on if it is off, then press the button a second time for one second then release holding it 1-2 inches away from your forehead, then after a second it should beep showing the temperature.Don't hold the button down for too long. just follow my advice.On the side you will find the rest of the control buttons, the icons are very intuitive and the device is very easy to operate.

Broke after 15 months
Product stopped working after 15 months. I went to the website to try to troubleshoot, but it did not have any helpful information or anything that worked. It either says temperatures are really high or really low. I would not buy again.

When my go-to consumer group reviewed this Alcedo thermometer, it was the incentive I needed to move from the oral style to this no-touch style with its several features: "measures in 1 second; stores the last 20 readings, silent mode; automatic switch-off'; F/C mode; uses 2 AAA batteries (included); carry bag; instructions.
